I ordered a hurricane blue in large and a red in average. They are true to size. The colors are beautiful and have not faded in the 9 months i've had them. If the get dirty I just hose them off and they are good as new! I love that there is a nose adjustment as well as a crown adjustment! The hurricane blue looks amazing on my liver chestnut gelding! This is my favorite halter. I will only buy this one from now on!

I bought this halter many months ago and use it frequently (though I don't turn my horse out in it) and it is still just like new. No fading. Small just barely fits my morgan and I think I will order up a size for her next time. Also-once she pulled back in the cross ties and slipped right out of the halter. Not holding my breath for it to happen again but I was glad that she wasn't hurt and the halter didn't break.

These are the only halters that I like. I got my grey Arab mare the purple one about 4 years ago and let me tell you it has been the besst halter ever. I got her the small and it is just perfect for her I have the halter set on about the middle hole fro both the chin and poll strap. This halter is definatly the BEST and I always recommend it to all of my friends and people at shows. The hardware is very durable and strong as well as the nylon, and doesn't break that easy. Mine is still in prefect shape and I have never had a single issue with it and the snap on these halters are my absolute favorite and a very easy to use even little kids can use it. Like I said I have had my purple one for 4 years now and it still looks perfect and has not faded. One of the things that I have done to keep this halter in good shape is 2 or 3 times a year I put the halter in mild to warm water and scrub it while in the water very good and l let it dry and after words it looks like I just got it from the store. This is my mares everyday halter and she wears it while at shows so that is why I clean it with water so that it looks nice and doesn't have dirt on it. I will never by another brand of halter, and will always by this brand!!!

In the past I have gotten a Hurricane Blue, Lime Zest, and Black. The lime one faded quickly (then again I had that one in summer, and he wore it more often than the other two). I haven't had any problem with durability or anything. One day my horse spooked while he was tied up, and pulled on the halter (the same thing happened before and his leather one snapped), but the halter frefused to give. It was a tad bit stretched out, but it stood up to a 17hh ex-racehorse, so i give it five stars.

My horse's color is Lime green, which is REALLY hard to find, especially in anything of quality.
I bought two of these halters in lime, average size, for my 14.3hh ArabianX... and they are PERFECT!!!
It doesn't attract hay like cheaper nylon, and it fit my boy perfectly on the middle hold of both the nose and crown piece. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a pop of color with high quality!

I ordered three of these. The large is so big it should be for a XL draft horse. The average is large on my big horse. The small I have no idea since the wrong color was shipped and it wasn't a Weaver halter. I gave it away.
The quality is great, but there needs to be a better way to figure out the sizing.

Mid-January I bought the large in blue which is supposed to fit a 1100 -1600 lb. horse for my 20 month old Drum horse who is now about 1200 lbs. and approx. 16.1 hands. As soon as I saw it I thought it looked like what I would consider a regular horse size halter, not an oversized. I had to use the last hole on the headband at that time. Needless to say 4 months later he needs a bigger size already so I am going to buy a draft size even though he isn't close to 1600 lbs. I didn't return it at that time because I thought that he would have gotten more wear out of it. Also, the stiching in the headband and nose band fell out, but I won't blame the manufacturer for that because my horse was chewing on it as it gets hung inside his stall. (Barn rules that I don't particularily agree with, but stalls line an indoor arena and it is a safty issue for arena riders if anything is hanging on the outside of stalls.)

I bought this halter over the summer and I love it! I bought the purple one which is a pretty deep purple color. It is very durable, and it still looks brand new after daily use! It is a strong halter and can be adjusted to fit all of my horses. I bought this with the "Weaver Multi-Color Poly Lead Rope w/Bolt Snap" in Raspberry/Teal/Purple and they match perfectly. I have gotten so many compliments on this halter. My horses look great in this halter, and they all love it too!

I love this halter, and so does my yearling. It is VERY durable and I love that it's adjustable and the clip is big enough to where it doesn't pinch her face. I highly recommend this halter. (:
