Rated 1 out of 5 by HORRIBLE!!!! I barrel race and work my horse hard. I bought this pad because i read the reviews and figured that someone has to know what they are talking about. WASTE OF MONEY! Thin and the middle of the pad feels like cardboard. Not only that the pad slides all over. The saddle almost slid off! I do not recommend this pad to anyone! You get what you pay for that's for sure! I'm using this piece of junk as a saddle cover to keep the dust off when my saddle is in the barn. That's the only thing you can use this pad for! Rated 5 out of 5 by Fluffy! This pad is so soft and i have an older horse with very pronounced withers so using normal pads just doesnt help. I usually ride bareback or use a bareback pad with stirrups so his back doesnt hurt. Plus most saddles are for wider horses and they slip back but with this pad the saddle is raised up to where it should be on hores with flat backs(cuz my horse is old and a bit swaybacked). This pad makes it possible to use any saddle, english or western, for my old boy. Now i just have to find a saddle that fits me! May 7, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by great pad for everyday riding I've had this pad for almost 2 years now and still am satisfied with it. I use it for ranch work, pleasure riding and trail riding. I've washed it about a dozen times and it's still great (not as pretty and fluffy as it once was). My only complaint is that hay, burrs, and horse hair are very hard to remove from the "fuzzy" outside. But it's not a complaint that will stop me from buying this pad again. Can't beat the price and the thickness of the pad makes for a comfortable ride for the horse too. February 24, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by You get what you pay for! This is not an ideal Pad for an everyday rider. Better as an extra back-up pad. I was Not satisfied with this Pad. I didn't want to pay for return postage either; just wasn't worth the hassle.. I ended up using the pad for a GREAT DOG BED! My dog loves it; horse not so much! October 29, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awsome pad i bought this pad because my other pad had saddle bags attached to itperfect for trail riding but not for riding around practicing barrels So i decided to get the blue one which was alittle darker then i expected but overall i love it and my horses loves it too!
