Rated 5 out of 5 by All the horses love it! One particular horse at Tecolote loves this bit. He is a rescue pony that has half of his tongue cut off, so obviously bits can be very painful to his mouth. First we used a similar bit with a slightly higher port, and he kept throwing his tongue over the bit and crunching at it and throwing his head around. We changed the bits with this one, and he instantly relaxed. He responds pretty well to this bit too! Highly recommended! July 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works well if used in the right hands. As any leverage bit, especially a 6in shank, it can be disasterous in the wrong hands. This works well on my mare who needed a step up from a swivel snaffle shank. This put a very nice feel on her and she happily moves off of a twitch of the fingers. It's very durable and has a great price. June 17, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by totally recommend it! If anyone wants to know, this is a 6 inch bit. Since it is metal, it does get very cold in the winter so you need to warm it up before you ride. But It is strong, cheap, and I really like it! January 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Great Working Bit I bought this bit for my Arab mare and she just loves it. It is nice and soft in her mouth. My mare is very sensitive and I love this bit I have only had her in it for less than a month and it has improved her head set and I have had really nice solid rides in this bit at the shows. The price is also wonderful for the bit. so much better than others that I have used. September 25, 2011

He really responded to it, and it worked with my other horses too! i used this bit in a few schooling shows, and it was perfect! my horses seem to really like it too!
