Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap date you will want to call back My six year old mare LOVES this bit, the beads seem to entertain & pacify her, she was immediately relaxed with it the first time it when in, no argument what so ever. The leverage seems just right too- ideal for an unrefined backyard trail rider like me. The transition from full-cheek snaffle to this was like going from analog cellular to 4G LTE in terms of effective communication. For $15 how can you go wrong? Glad I took the chance- May 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Originally bought to use on another horse, I tried it out on my gelding today and he was amazing. I've never had a better 'whoa' with such little contact. I had an excitable gelding who liked to pull and resist, and with one ride he went everywhere I pointed him and even set his head on his own. I love this bit and will definitely recommend it and purchase another! March 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOOVE!! This bit is awesome!! It has been my favorite bit since the first time I bought it. I actually got mine at a tack store and had it about a year before it (along with my breast cancer awareness rhinestoned bridle and reins was stolen) I have been riding in a similar one and it just doesnt work as well. Now that I have found this bit again I will be ordering more than one! Its an easy bit with just the right control. My mare tends to run through a snaffle on barrels but all these bigger bits made her flip out. Put this bit on her and shes a doll! The rollers help out a lot with gate nerves all she did was play with them and it would calm her down. I used it almost every day for a year and it looked brand new! Great price too March 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this bit! All my horses ride well in this bit! The best bit for the money and is a true 5 in mouth. Am buying another! August 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Just what the doctor ordered. This bit is perfect. We have tried numerous bits with no success until this one. My horse no longer fights the bit. He loves this one... and so do I. July 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bit My horse is off the track, and he fought me every which way with the tender touch bit, and he did not like Tom Thumbs. So, I gave this bit a try, he LOVES IT! I run barrels in it, he goes out on trail rides with it, and he never fights me. It is just enough bit for what I do, and my horse has an easy mouth. I have been using it for 7 years now, and I am still using the same one, I have not had to buy another. Great bit! April 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Bit! I read the reviews & decided to take a chance on this extremely inexpensive bit. Fact is, I couldn't be happier. My 4 y/o green broke gelding accepted it quite easily, which he didn't with other bits. It sits quietly in his mouth & he responds quickly to all commands. Wonderful bit. I highly recommend! Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice bit This was my QH gelding 2nd shank bit and the first one he liked. He responded will, listened to it without being upset by it. Good price, good quality. I recommend it! February 7, 2012
