I like this bit because you can use it in english or western because since it is a walker bit it dosnt really have a place, but it is a very calm and soothing bit for your horse but with a properly adjusted curb chain, with one or two fingers for room you can have a lot of control. And since it is a solid mouth and cheek you cant irritate your horses palate or lips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
