Western Vaquero Headstall

A beautifully trimmed out headstall with a great old-style look. Many browband style headstalls look bulky and large on a smaller or more refined head. Mustang's braided browband headstall is small enough in diameter to look good on a variety of horses. Tightly braided durable brown nylon is embellished with contrasting tan nylon buttons and trim at browband corners. Nickel plated hardware. The perfect headstall for the Mustang Vaquero roping rein.

Features:
  • Old-style look
  • The look accomodates a variety of horses

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Headstall This is definetly on of the very best headstalls i have bought. I have 2 of them in different colors and they fit every horse is have put them on from a tiny palomino arab to a very large stocky built Quarter horse, very adjustable and very easy to change the bit out. One thing i would add to make it perfect would be a loop to put the slack of the strap on the side down incase its a smaller horse that needs it adjusted smaller, it flops around so i just tie it with a piece of rawhide but a wonderful inverstment i'm buying 2 more for my other horses and one for a gift very very nice! Rated 3 out of 5 by Cute, but Cheap Pretty, but cheaply made. No real throat latch. Very adjustable. Will fit almost every horse. November 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Deal This headstall is great for use on multiple sized horses as it adjusts 2 ways on both sides. The material is a bit flimsy & can slip through if you don't get it set right. The buckles should have had a longer tongue to keep the material in place better. I love it & I'm going to get one in a different color soon. November 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great bridle My 14h gelding is hard to fit for bridles, he takes only a 4" bit. I was able to adjust the size of this to fit him, and it looks awesome on him. It's easy to put on his head too. Very happy. November 3, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by It was.... The headstall looks great. I love the look of it. But I don't like the flimsy material. It's too easy for the horse to pull and re-adjust it. I had that happen today. Plus they sent me different colored reins than what I ordered. February 20, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice looking Bought this a year ago for my daughter's horse. Initially the quality didn't strike me as very good as it seemed flimsy, but it has held up really well and still looks brand new. It is extremely adjustable, fitting every horse I've put it on, ranging from a tiny Arab's head to my 1400lb draft cross's head. And it looks really nice on my daughter's palomino. Great product for the price. January 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE IT!!!! I got this bridle a while ago in Navy. when i first got it i was really excited! i immediately started putting it together. it took quite a while to put together for the right size but the time is definitely worth it! I love this bridle and would buy many more! January 6, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by I LOVE this bridle! This is a great quality bridle, amazing for the price. It's extremely adjustable, has fit every horse I've tried it on of all different breeds. Lasted 3 years until my horse stepped on the rein and one of the cheek pieces busted May 5, 2011
