What can I say about this saddle? Well first of all it fits my 15.2hh paint horse, and let me tell you this was an issue that I had from the beginning. when I got the saddle it looked great, and was beautiful. I couldn't believe that it was a synthetic saddle it. The most important thing was if fit my horse! Its was stiff, but like all new saddles it takes time to break in, but let me tell you, I love this saddle, Im so glad I bought it. I would recommend this saddle to anyone!

is this a draft saddle ?
A shopper on Sep 1, 2014
Best Answer: I have a big quarter horse gelding that this saddle fits. It is a 15 inch seat. I dont know if it would fit a draft horse. Probably depends on the size of the draft, there are so many. I know it would not have fit my grandfathers percheron work horses, they were pretty wide in the barrel area.

Best Answer: I would work with a local saddle shop and take your horse and try different saddles to find what type fits you and your horse.

How long is the skirt?
Ian V on Mar 28, 2014
Best Answer: I am not sure exactly how long the skirt is. It look normal to. I returned the saddle b/c I decided to put my money towards a show saddle instead. It looked very nice though.

Would this be a good everyday work saddle (for light work and trail riding)? Thanks
-Ally
Ally M on Jun 14, 2015
Best Answer: Yes. That is what I used it for. I had the same saddle for 12 years and it finally started breaking so I ordered another one. I loved the saddle - comfortable and easy to clean. The only complaint I have with the new one is that they put piping around the fenders - the old one didn't have it - and now it catches on my Ariat fat baby boots. I guess I will have to get some higher boots so it won't catch. Otherwise it has been a great saddle.

Would this saddle fit a 13.2h cob? He's a little chunky with average height withers :) thanks
Millie C on May 12, 2015
Best Answer: Probably??? Unfortunately it's not possible to guarantee fit in advance. This saddle does have Full Quarter Horse bars which are for the wider horse. Please also check out the rest of the measurements given in the product description.

what country makes this saddle?
jocelyn p on Nov 24, 2014
Best Answer: Wintec is an Australian company. For what it is worth, I have used this saddle on both my quarter horse mare and gelding. They are different in build, but I have found that I can quickly adjust the saddle to run well on both horses. I have seen where folks have posted that they don't like this saddle for long use due to irritation to the horse. I have found that my mare needs a saddle blanket, and my gelding runs better with a saddle pad. I spent more on the blanket and pad than I did on the saddle. I can ride a full working day on either with no discomfort to either myself or the horses.

Does this have the interchangeable gullet?
Amanda on May 25, 2014
Best Answer: Yes it appears you could replace it. My question is how much saddlery experience do you have. If you feel confident in making alterations at that level then change away, just be sure your replacement is well fit and secure or you might see the wrong side of your horse and the ground when you least expect to.
