Wanted a lighter Western Saddle. Knew Wintec was a good one. Will see.

What is the difference between the semi-quarter tree and a quarter horse tree? I have a thoroughbred, not real high withers, but definitely narrower in the shoulder and back than a quarter horse.
Evelyn M on Feb 4, 2015
Best Answer: It is more narrow and I am using it on a racking horse that is more narrow than a quarterhorse..The withers is close to the same

I need a 14"- full quarter horse- Barrel saddle - would you have that? All I can find is half quarter horse bars
A shopper on Nov 6, 2014
Best Answer: You're right, most of the barrel saddles have semi Quarter Horse bars. Take a look at E007372 Royal King Wolfe City Barrel Saddle, or WKT06 King Series Competition Barrel Saddle. Both of these have full Quarter Horse bars.

I have a very old arabian and am looking for a saddle, we don't ride hard, but I want comfort for us. He has a sway back n is pretty narrow would you recommend this saddle? I don't know if he needs full bars or semi does any one know if this saddle would work? I've been searching long time n saw these.

Best Answer: Well for me my horse had a narrow wither and so i did a semi QH bars which is a 6.5 gullet size, my saddle fits wonderfully. I love thats its easy to clean and comfy. If your horse has sway back I would also do a thicker saddle pad, but this saddle is really well made and my horse loves it.
