I show English both jumping and flat on a 14.2 mustang X QH. She is very refined and so we ordered the cob and she could swim in it still. The entirety of the buckles had to be shortened and so it could not be used RIGHT away. The quality was good aside from the size and it was soft and nice fake leather. It looks very nice with my mothers 25+ year old Wintec Saddle I now show in. I would recommend this for people like me, just starting and need a cost efficient way to start showing!

Get the cob unless you have a draft or something really big. Otherwise GREAT.

This product is GREAT!
accept for that it was rather large but hey, that just means more product right!? poked a couple extra holes in it and there! worked out great!

The sizes do run big! I have an Anglo Arabian that is built like a Thoroughbred and the cob size fits her perfect except for the strap that attaches to the girth as it's a bit long but nothing that a hole puncher can't fix! Overall the quality is great and I am very happy with my purchase. You would never know that it wasn't leather just by looking at it. Well worth the money.

The hardware stiched onto the running martingale attachment was very cheap and broke with little stress.

This martingale is exactly what I was looking for considering what my budget would allow. It looks nice and its easy maintenance. Every strap on it is adjustable which was my biggest concern. And as some of the other reviews warned, it does measure very large. I have a 16h thoroughbred cross with a long neck and narrow chest and the full sized martingales just swim on him. I ended up with the cob size in this one which fits him perfect as long as every strap is on the tightest hole, and I still had to make my own hole on the bottom strap that goes between the legs. But it works and I am very pleased. I recommend it.

I was extremely happy when I pulled this out of the box, I love the feel and the look. I ordered the horse size for my thick 15.1 appendix, but I tried it on and it's way too big! I'm not happy about the fit. I had to punch holes on all the straps. Overall it's a good product, but just be sure you know exactly what size to get.

This was my first Wintec purchase and I acutally had never seen the material in person. Needless to say when I opened the box I was extremely happy! It is not nearly as synthetic in appearance and feel as I thought it would be, in fact it is soft, smooth and flexible, more like well worn leather. Its nicely finished and has all the features of an expensive leather version without the cost. I would highly recommend this to fellow riders.
