Great Portable Charger!, 8/14/2012

Endurance Good from Georgia

I have had the Yellow Jacket for many years and I Love it. I use it for endurance rides. I take a 12 volt lawn mower battery and can charge 5 portable corrals. It contains all our horses for 3+ days. It is compact and fits in the container with all the fencing stuff. The D cell batteries are OK but the lawn mower battery really works better for my needs. I would highly recommend it.

I've had this charger for 4 years now and really like it. My horses respect a charged fence. The charger doesn't put out a strong pulse, but it is enough to keep my horses in my movable corral. Only have to change the "D" cell batteries twice in a summer.

Defectuous product, 5/25/2012

This product does not work well with 4-D batteries. The importer is aware of it and they fixed mine (warranty) and for a while it worked although very irregular. It works with a 6 or 12 Volt battery.

Unreliable D Cell, 3/27/2012

Thgis unit turned out to be unreliable when using the D-Cell battery option, failing on the trail when needed or used stopped worked when needed. The unit still works on the 12-volt option.
