A Sweet treat
Ingredients:
runy molasses
sliced carrots
apples
a buket
add eneything else that your horse likes

Instructions:
1)de-core the apples,then chop then into slices 2)take the sliced apples and carrots and put them into the buket 3)pour as much molasses as your horse likes are as much as you think the horse needs 4) mix your yummy crunchy treat and your horse will have the yummy treat !!

A crunchy bite
Ingredients:
Hard apples 3 or 4
Crunchy carrots
Any other hard vegetable your horse eats

Instructions:
Grind the carrots, apples, and vegetable wash them. Drop them in your horses feedbucket cool it so he'll have a crunchy bite

A healthy snack
Ingredients:
Carrots (sliced thin)
Crumbled oatmeal cookies
grain (as much as you want your horse to have)
Banana (1 half of a banana) sliced thin)
A very small amount of water

Instructions:
Take a large carrot(s) and slice thin into your feeding bucket. Then take an oatmeal cookie and cumble with your hands into the bucket. After that, take any amount of grain and put that in the bucket. Then take a banana and chop it thin into the bucket. Finnaly you may take a small amount of water and stir it into your horses nice, healthy snack.

a horse treat that will LAST!
Ingredients:
horse oats,brown suger,peanuts,dried apples,& alfa cubes

you can also add

weight builder,coat shiner ect. to the treats

Instructions:
Ok,all of these ingredients are infact "horse friendly"but need to be limited by 4 a day per horse first take The alfa cubes & cursh them up into powder,also crush the oats,but slice the dried apples into 4ths so it will be easy to also crush the salted/or unsalted peanuts. put the finely crushed alfa powder & oats in one bowl & mesure.put 1/4 a cup of brown suger per cup.put the choped apples in 1/8 per cup.put the peanut powder 1/4 cup per cup. add any other supplement,then add water 1/4 per cup of the whole batch.use your hands to mix & then you take out a cookie sheet.& cook for 30 min. 160 degrees (pre-heat oven)let set over night.& they will LAST!

A Horses Dream Treat
Ingredients:
2 cups of Quaker Oats
1/2 cup Molasses (or as much as your horse desires)
1(possibly 2)carrots cut into tiny cubes
1 juicy Granny Smith or Jonathan apples, cut into tiny cubed
1-2 pears (if your horse likes them )cut into tiny cubes

Instructions:
1.Take all of the fruit and cut into tiny cubes then mix in a bowl. 2.Add the Quaker Oats to the bowl. 3.Finally add the molasses and mix well. 4.Put on a cookie sheet (with wax paper on the sheet).Then take the mixture,and make into a cookie shape. 5.Take and put the cookie sheet (with the cookies on it) into the refrigerator fro 1-2 hours.Depending on how gooy you think it should be. 6.Last,take to your horse and watch him enjoy !!!!! P.S. Hope you all will enjoy this treat and will make often !!!

A Nickerfull Apple Treat
Ingredients:
~One apple
~Peanut butter
~Oats
~Coin sliced carrots

Instructions:
1. Hollow the apple, but leave the bottom and top. 2. Spread peanut butter over the inside wall of the apple. 3. Toss the oats on top of all the peanut butter. 4. Fill with carrots and apple.

AAA Treats
Ingredients:
~Apple(as many as needed)
~Molasses
~Brown Sugar
~Oats
~Peppermint(chopped-up)

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 365, cut your apple in half, put on cookie sheet. Add a drizzel of molasses on top, then a pinch of brown sugar. Add a bit of oats and then(if your horse likes peppermints) add the peppermints. Cook for 5 mins, let cool ad feed to your horses!! They LOVE them!!

After Baby Treat- Great for New Moms
Ingredients:
2-3 Cups Quaker Oats
Hot Water
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 Boxes Raisins (or Big Handful)
1 Bannana
grain to taste

Instructions:
Make the oats so that they are sticky, but not runny, add remaining ingredients and stir well, adding water if it becomes to sticky. Top dress with a little grain to add "crunchy" My mares love this after they foal.

Ahzalees Apples
Ingredients:
A FEW APPLES
1 CARROT SLIVERED
2 CUPS SWEET MIX
1/2CUP FAVORITE BRAN(RICE, WHEAT OR OAT)
SALT
MOLASSES OR HONEY

Instructions:
PEEL AND CORE APPLES AND SPRINKLE WITH SALT SET ASIDE, MINCE CORES AND PEELS, ADD TO REMAINING INGREDIENTS ADDING JUST ENOUGH MOLASSES TO MAKE MOIST AND GOOWY. MIX WELL PACK APPLES, AND PLACE ON COOKIE SHEET DRIZZLE WITH MOLASSES COVER AND LET SIT 24HRS. SERVE THEM WITH LOTS OF LOVE!!! (GREAT WAY TO HIDE MEDS, OR SUPPLEMENTS JUST ADD THEM TO THE MIX)

Amanna Mix
Ingredients:
-1 bananna
-1 apple
-Sweet feed (as much as you need!)
-water
-Honey
-Bucket

Instructions:
Peel bananna and core apple. Mash bananna in bucket. Mash the apple as much as you can, using a blender if nessesary. Add apple to bucket. Pour in the sweet feed. Add about a cup of honey and 2 cups of water. Stir well, freeze, (optional), and feed!

An Apple Suprise
Ingredients:
Apple
Molasses
Oats
Bannana
Alfalfa Mush (Alfalfa cubes disolved in water)

Instructions:
1.Hollow out an apple using a knife or, spoon 2.Mush bananna in bowl 3.fill apple first with Alfalfa mush (Make sure it's not too runy!) 4. Next add oats in apple 5.add molasses and then banannas. If your horse dosen't like one of the ingredients don't add it, it will still turn out OK.

Angel's very own muffins
Ingredients:
1/4 c pineapple (crushed)
1/4 c banana (sliced)
1/4 c applesauce
3 c oats
2 tbs molasses
3 tbs flour
2 c water
2 tbs brown sugar
peppermints

Instructions:
Mix water, oats, & molasses. Add banana, pineapple, applesauce, sugar, & flour. Microwave 3 min. Preheat oven to 375F. Grease muffin tins. Roll batter around peppermints & put in tins. Cook 15 min. PS This is the treat of champions (Angel won reserve world champion for 2004 w/ me)!!!

Apple Delight
Ingredients:
1 or 2 apples
Oats
Molasses, Honey, or anything stcky your horse likes
Peppermints
Sugar
Finely Diced Carrots
Any other mini items your horse enjoys

Instructions:
Hollow out the apple,but leave the bottom of the apple there. Mix all of the other ingredients together, than put the "concoction" in the apple. If desiered, bake the apple in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Only feed 1 per every hour.

Apple Dreams
Ingredients:
~Three sliced apples
~Cinnamon
~Three large tortillas
~Honey

Instructions:
1. Slice tortillas into circles.(should fit two slices of apples) 2. Cover with cinnamon. 3. Bake at 375 degrees farenheit for ten minutes or until crispy. 4. Spread honey over it. 5. Lie two apples (on their sides) ontop of the honey. Should make twenty-four.

apple kisses
Ingredients:
1 apple
molasses
carrots
oats or uncooked oatmeal
honey

Instructions:
cut the top off the apple. hollow the apple out with out cutting the bottem ( keep all the stuff that you got out of the apple). put some molasses at the bottem. then cut the carrots in to little peices.put the carrots in the apple. then put some honey on the carrots. on top of the honey put the oats. when u all all done put the top back on the apple and you have a wounderful treat for your luckey horse.

Apple N' Oats
Ingredients:
As many Apples as you have horses
1/4 to 1 scoop seet feed depending on number of horses.
optional honey/molasses
Sugar/ oats / crushed pepermint.

Instructions:
core out apple leaving the bottom Fill with as much feed will fit Optional role in honey or molasses Then role in desired topings

Apple-Carrot Horse Biscuits
Ingredients:
Honey
1/2 apple
Grated carrots and carrot chunks
Milk
Whole-wheat flour
Oatmeal

Instructions:
Mix grated carrots and carrot chunks, grated apple, oatmeal, whole-wheat flour and honey in a bowl. Stir until sticky and doughy. Add a little milk now and then so the mixture is moist (but still doughy). Shape the dough into balls and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Let cool.

Ingredients:
2 apples
2 cups of molasses
3 cups of Quaker oats

Instructions:
Core apple and slice into 6 wedges Use tongs to dip aplle wedge in molasses roll in oats and put in freezer overnight *******Make sure you lets the caramel thaw out a little before feeding********

Ingredients:
Fresh rasberries.blackberries,cherries, carrots and lectuce.

Instructions:
WASH ALL THE CHERRIES AND BERRIES CUT THEM IN SMALL PIECES AND KEEP THEM IN YOUR HORSES FEED BUCKET. CHOP THE CARROTS AND FRESH LECTUCE MIX THEM WITH THE BERRIES SO YOUR HORSE CAN HAVE A COOL AUSTORIOUS'S CHOP

Ingredients:
the non herbal items
1. 1 apple
2. 2 carrots
3. 1 1\2 cup of oats
4. 1 tablespoon of molasses
5. 1\2 a cup of bran (helps with digestive system)

herbs are
optional

all herbs are safe to use in horse feeds


Garlic powder (hoof health)

Dried rose hip powder (hoof health)

Dried chamomile flowers (respiratory health, ease gut pain, relax)

Ginger (helps to grow mane and tail)

rosemary leaves (helps stop inflammation)

parsley (helps build muscle)

dried oregano (anti fungi/ antibacterial)

cumin (helps flush out parasites)
