FLYSECT CITRONELLA SPRAY W/LANOLIN

Emergency Overview
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
Route(s) of Entry: Inhalation? Yes , Skin? Yes , Eyes? Yes , Ingestion? Yes
Potential Health Effects (Acute and Chronic)
ACUTE: INHALATION: Mildly irritating to the nose, throat and respiratory tract; naphtha can cause peripheral nervous system changes, if abused. EYE: Mildly irritating to the eyes from solvent vapors and in contact, can cause severe irritation if not removed promptly. SKIN: Mild irritation with the possibility of sensitization. INGESTION: Burning sensation of mouth and throat, gastric upset, vomiting may occur; large dose may cause narcosis and mental confusion, pulmonary edema may occur if aspirated.
Chronic: INHALATION: Lung irritation and possibly systemic allergic reaction, pulmonary edema and peripheral nerve damage. EYE: Mild irritation from solvent vapors and in contact, can cause severe irritation if not removed promptly. SKIN: Prolonged and repeated contact may cause allergic reaction, defatting with subsequent infection and irritation. INGESTION: Not a likely route of chronic exposure.
Signs and Symptoms Of Exposure
Prolonged or repeated exposure can cause irritation and reddening of the skin, possibly progressing into dermatitis. Persons known to be sensitized to Pyrethrins should avoid contact.

SECTION 4. First Aid Measures
FLYSECT CITRONELLA SPRAY W/LANOLIN

Emergency and First Aid Procedures
IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.
IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Note to Physician
Treat symptomatically, observe for allergic reactions; irregular heart beat may occur, use of adrenaline is not advised; gastric lavage only if large quantities have been ingested.
