Works wonders
My horse had scratches. Which is dark Scabs on the fetlock of white feet. For treatment I prefer to get the scabs off so the fungus can dry out. I cannot believe how well this worked. After only a few days of gooping this all over the affected area and keeping her off the wet grass that caused this, I was able to gently scrap them off. A few more days of application and all of them came off. I saw healthy pink skin underneath. After that I used the fungasol spray which dry out quickly to keep it from coming back!

Fungasol is the only product that I found that solves the problem!
My TN Walker, June, has some sort rash on his neck. It is dry, grey, and scaly. I would say it looks similar to psoriasis in people. Anyway, I had multiple vets look at it. Most didn't seem all that interested. Some of the treatments offered were too costly and not guaranteed to work. So I went on to try everything (ointments, sprays, herb solutions, feed supplements, even baby diaper rash ointment). Nothing worked, that is until I tried Fungasol. As long as I use the fungasol on the affected area, his skin looks normal and his hair has grown back.

Impressive! Works fast!
I could not believe how quickly this product worked in clearing up a problem I've had with 2 geldings for years. From the sand & urine, they both get an area on the hind legs that scales & scabs. I've tried numerous products, both expensive & cheap, with little result. Half the problem is mine, since I haven't always abided the instructions & applied the lotions 2-3 times a day. I applied Fungasol a few days & saw amazing results. All the crustiness was gone with minimal hair loss. It was as if the problem had never existed. I give Fungasol a big Hoo Rah.

For rain rot should I apply the ointment first and then the spray?
Sherry L on Apr 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I use the ointment as soon as I see any spots showing on their heels. It is wonderful for softening scabs allowing them to be removed without adding water. It also adds some moisture barrier protection. Usually, if you catch the crud in the early stages then the Fungasol Ointment heals everything up without other meds.
Is the fungasol ointment safe to use on cats and kittens?
Laura R on Apr 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The active ingredient is tea tree oil and so the instructions say "do not allow animal ingestion" so you would have to be careful not to allow the cat to lick it. Look online for a product called Hay Where's That Blue Stuff. It's safe for dogs and cats and works wonders for wounds and infections and other skin problems.
