Great for hooves
I love this product and have been using it for years. it has made a big difference in all my horse's hooves - no longer dry, cracking and ugly. I always make a point of using it before we go trail riding too, as this helps keep them moisturized when going through dry trails.

So far so good on hoof conditioner
Just started using this hoof conditioner and really like the ease of application. Hoping it serves us well and does a great job.

Naturally effective
I used to buy this in the spray can, but problems with packaging turned me back to the brush on application. Only a little less convenience, but always a great product. Conditions hooves without use of petroleum based ingredients. Every other day keeps hooves in great shape even in Texas summers, and muddy winters. We alternate with Thrush Buster in winter. Our farrier says best hooves she sees, ever. About that mud, a liberal application of Hooflex on a clean hoof makes re-cleaning sooo much easier. Mud build up comes out easily in one chunk. We boot for snow or ice, so don't know how it would help that snowball build up. No thrush, abscesses, or cracks with this regimen.

I Love this product but read the review!
My farrier was very against it as he thinks that where I live we get a lot of moisture and locking more moisture in would be detrimental to horse's hoofs. though he is right when it comes to April and Fall I found that in a winter it really helped to keep horse's feet from cracking. Our temp go from 40F to 10F and moisture getting "locked in a hoof" , then freezes and expands causing cracks in horse's feet. putting Hooflex created a barrier to actually prevent the moisture from getting into cracks and allowing them to grow out. No new cracks appeared since I started to use this product. Very easy to apply and I would def keep it on hands!

Is this a paste, or more liquid than that?
A shopper on Aug 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It's actually very liquid but was my favorite hoof dressing so far. I noticed the most difference with my horse who had feet that would crack and also it seemed to encourage growth.
