Directions for Use:
Legs and Joints:
For fast relief of temporary muscular and joint soreness, swelling and stiffness, apply to sore areas. May be applied two or more times a day.
Arthritis: Deep penetrating heat soothes the pain and swelling of tissues due to arthritis. Rub on stiff and sore joints before and after turn out to increase pain relief.
Muscle Soreness: To relieve pain and stiffness, apply to desired areas and cover with blanket. May be repeated two or more times a day as needed.
Body Wash: Mix 4 oz. of AVL and 8 oz. vinegar with 24 oz. of water to refresh a tired horse. Astringents wash away sweat and dirt, while the antimicrobial formula disinfects and herbal oils shine the coat.
Warm Up: Rub down to increase circulation to muscles and help prevent injuries. Clinically proven to enhance performance.
Post Work Out: Apply to help speed muscle recovery by increasing blood flow to the affected area, helping to reduce soreness, stiffness, swelling and pain. The fast-acting formula is proven to increase blood flow and help your horse heal rapidly.
Setting Up: Professional trainers recommend application after a workout to all four legs and wrapping lightly.
Hoof Disinfectant: The formula penetrates into the porous hoof sole and frog to disinfect. Apply once a week to help prevent bacterial and fungal infections. Use daily to treat hoof conditions such as abscesses, cracks, delamination, Thrush and White Line Disease.

ALETA T on Feb 7, 2017
I bought this once before and I apply as soon as I bring my barrel horse out of the pasture prior to riding and as soon as I get off her after a ride. It helps her so much since she has problems with her hocks from poor farrier work and you can definitely tell when she does not have this on, it's a new horse. She feels better and I'm pain free getting off of her.

Fabulous liniment! Almost immediately makes my 21 year old quarter horse young and frisky again. Although I like the Vetrolin liniment also, I get a much better result from Absorbine.

can this stuff be used on humans????????????????????????????????????
Tony S on Feb 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used it for years in the Army. Best stuff in the world for a daily morning rub on your feet. Keeps them sanitized, odor free and prevents the usual problems with fungus and athlete's foot. Soak the inside of your sneakers too once in a while.
is it safe for humans?
A shopper on May 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It is safe for humans so long as the skin is able to breath. Do not wrap skin in anything, and use cotton balls to apply. I'd also recommend wearing gloves when applying, because the smell is potent.
Does the absorbine veterinary liniment dry skin out?
Guin M on Jul 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Never dried my skin out or caused any problem. It actually prevented athlete's foot. I used it for 7 years in the Army on my feet before putting my boots on each day. It just sanitized, eliminates odor and refreshes the skin. Imagine your feet and shoes smelling good after a full day on your feet, every day? Now I soak the inside of my sneakers occasionally. Great stuff!.
