I have a 27 year old Quarter Horse mare who has given me the hardest time about what she eats. It took me a while to find a feed that satisfied us both; something that is palatable for her, and satisfying for me, nutrition wise. The feed she is on is doing well for her, but doesn't quite hit the mark like I wish it would. I've gone through lots of trial and error in trying to find a supplement that she wouldn't throw her nose up at (and my money into the garbage can). I'm a huge fan of the Gleam & Gain 60 Supreme because compared to other products, you feed half the amount to obtain the same results. My mare has a super sleek and shiny coat, she has filled out, and with aid of my bareback pad, curtious of Horse.com (http://www.horse.com/item/best-friend-comfort-plus-bareback-pad/E004918/), I can go for a nice long, two hour trail ride without feeling like I'm riding a sawhorse.

Easily palatable for my older, picky mare. She has the coat with the most shine out in the pasture. I definitely can see a difference in her weight also. My friend has an Appaloosa mare that's almost 30 we put on this supplement, and within just a couple weeks we could see a difference in her weight and hair coat.

How quickly can I expect to see results with this product as far as weight gain??

BEST ANSWER: I saw a HUGE difference in my mare after about 3 weeks. She was started on a few different supplements within that time, and was getting grain. She was really slim when I bought her. The combination my trainer and I worked out, and the daily exercise, made a huge difference in a short time. That said, I couldn't tell you exactly how well this product would have performed on its own. For what it's worth, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. And she really seemed to like it- her bucket was licked clean every day.
