Product Summary:

Cetyl M®

This product is exclusively designed and formulated to maintain and prolong joint health and function in horses – and may help alleviate the aches and soreness that can result from heavy exercise, training and competition.

Features:

  • Industry’s only 100% plant-derived source of cetyl myristoleate and powerful combination of other joint health ingredients
  • Two-scoop dose contains the following:
    • Cetyl Myristoleate (100% Kombo Nut Source): 5500mg
    • Glucosamine – HCL (Shellfish Source): 3000mg
    • MSM (MetylSulfonylMethane): 3000mg
    • Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C): 1000mg
  • Manufactured in granular form to ensure maximum potency
  • No animal by-products
  • Formulated with molasses and apple flavoring to help ensure your horse takes in the full dose

Feeding Instructions:

For best results, we suggest you follow the directions on the product container before using.

Initial Loading Period: Depending on the severity of conditions, an initial “loading” dosage during the first 20-30 days is recommended. Feed an average size horse two scoops twice per day, or a large horse three scoops twice per day. Results are usually evident within three weeks.

Maintenance Period: Once desired results are seen, begin administering a maintenance dose of one scoop once per day for average horses; 1.5 scoops once per day for large horses. For severe conditions or older horses, you may continue at the higher levels. Monitor your horse’s condition closely and adjust dosage levels as may be necessary for optimum results.

Tip: For the picky eater, add a small amount of water to the Advanced Cetyl M® formula and then mix it with your horse’s feed. The granules will stick to the feed and even the pickiest horse will “eat” it up!

I have used this product before on an old equine friend and had amazing results and once again, one of my old girls is having joint problems with the cold weather so I don't have to trial and error with her. I know what works.

We have put all of our 3 horses on this product. Our 2 older mares have gone from not wanting to leave their corrals to enjoying a good canter. Our 14 yr old gelding has fewer problems with his stifle as well. CetylM has been a boon to us and our horses

I just rescue a Amish Belgium Draft, that is 17+/- whom has been worked hard. His joints crack when he walks. This stuff works for 150 Lbs. Rhodesian Ridgeback dog. So hopefully it will work on Tiny Tim the Belgium Draft

I have used this for years. I can't imagine how I would feel without it. Chose this because it is veg formula.
LINDA S on Feb 25, 2014
This is the best joint supplement I have found. My 27 year old off the track TB is back to playing with the younger horses again and galloping through the field. He had a hock injury 5+ years ago and I though he needed to be retired. After 4 months on this supplement, he is back to his old tricks again, on a workout program, and trail riding.

TV advertised this for dogs as well but i dont find it?
Sandie V on Nov 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I would consult with your veterinarian before giving this product to any other animal other than a horse.
Can I use this on my dog?
MARY E on May 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Cetyl M makes a supplement for dogs, but it is the same as the horse supplement. However, the scoop is designed for a 1000 pound horse, not a smaller dog. If you have a large sized dog (around 100 pounds) it wouldn't be that hard to divide it out and figure out what your dog should be getting. But if it's smaller than 100 pounds, I'd definitely just buy the dogs version so you don't have to worry about over dosing them on it.
Can you use this for pregnant mares ?
Ya Ya on Jun 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No information shows about use with pregnant mares. We have to recommend that you check with your veterinarian.
I always get emails that say 25% off yet Cetyl M is only 10% off. Why is that?
