Seems well made, but doesn't have sufficient padding.
This pad is put together well, but doesn't have sufficient substance in the padding. I may return it.

wonderful product
Has functionality and is made to last. I ride every day using it and it holds all my endurance equipment that I like to have on hand. AMAZING product, great price

Great Idea, Questionable Quality
This is a great design, but rather thin and will not stand up to hard use. OK for "Sunday rides", but not tough use. Wish they would make a more durable version.

Pretty thin
Nice pad but thinner than expected. Chocolate fleece is not white but that is a good thing. Bottom fleece separates from top too easily. Will see how it does on trail. Fleece is more like thin felt.

All Purpose pad w pockets
The pad itself is nice, very roomy and the pockets are quite large. The problem with this pad is that the vecro strips that are there to hold the saddles' leathers is not placed correctly. I had to take it to a seamstress to have it modified. Other than that, the pad is nice.

The Austraian trail pad is superior to this. This one is smaller and the synthetic fleece stinks .
I have used the Australian quilted pad for years and bought this by mistake. This one is smaller, and does not have double stitching or double pockets. I do like the pocket clip closures, however. The main problem is the synthetic fleece backing. It makes the horse sweat and really holds a stink! Wash daily and only use for Short rides. It is attractive. It is smaller and not as durable as the Australian pad and it holds a stink.

Great pad for trail riding
I endurance ride in a dressage saddle. This pad is long enough on the sides to occomodate my dressage saddles longer fenders. The pockets are much larger than I expected them to be. Five water bottles fit easily in each pocket. A Con is if you jog/trot heavy things in the pockets bounce a lot against the horse. I endurance ride and can only put lighter things in the pockets due to this issue. (first aid kit, granola bars, raincoat, electrolytes...etc) I still highly recommend this pad though, I use it everyday. It washes easily and is very well made.

Holds up good!
The first day I rode in it I fell off my horse when my horse slid and tripped. The pad has huge pockets, big enough to hold a Gatorade bottle on one side and lunch on the other. Pad is a bit on the thinner side though. Held the iPhone!

LIked it the more I used it.
At first I was irritated that the velcro straps that fit around the saddle were not in the right place for my Wintec endurance saddle but the second time I used it I was able to connect the ends and the pad stayed in place much better. I used it to ride across the state of Michigan and this became my favorite pad. I had used it for 3 days and decided to use a fresh clean one of another kind. My horse got some blister like bumps that day which disappeared when I went back to this one. I think I might prefer velcro on the pockets but the clips work fine, they are just harder to put back together when mounted.

Does the job
I bought one of these for the short trail rides, something to carry a hoof pick, rope halter & lead, zip ties for quick fixes on the trail, maybe a snack or a camera. It does the job pretty well, my only complaint is the fasteners, if my horse gives a good shake, small items (like the hoof pick) can come out.It is a thin pad, so if you need extra cushion you need to use and extra pad.
