Really do like this product. Bought Cosequin to try instead while on sale. However, I may return to this HA, because I know it works and my horse likes the taste. She is not fond of the taste of the Cosequin.

My TB mare deserves the best in her 'power diet', and she gets a variety of supplements, including HA, to be the best she can be, not for a particular condition.

what color is this liquid supposed to be?
A shopper on Dec 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Liquid is a brownish color.
does this product come with a pump?
A shopper on Dec 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, I've never received it with a pump. I use a 1 TBSP measure to dose daily. :)
Dog safe?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't know about the usage for dogs. I would contact the manufacturer and ask them. I think this is a great product for horses, however. I believe it has helped my mare's fluidity. I have combined it with the AniMed MSM and quarter-cup ground flax per day. She seemed to especially improve when I added the HA, however.
Do you use this with a joint supplement also or just by itself?
JILL W on Feb 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I use it with a joint supplement that also has HA in it because most joint compounds do not contain adequate HA. In my opinion 30-50mg is not nearly enough for a horse, barely enough for a human. To have optimum effect it should be used along with a joint compound. Of course, check with your veterinarian for your horse's particular needs.
how many days dose this supply?
A shopper on Feb 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: At the maintenance dose of 1 oz per 1200 lb horse, a gallon will last approximately 128 days.
Is there a difference in MHB3 Hyaluronan vs Hyaluronic Acid or are they the same?
mary f on Jul 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I don't know if all HA are the same. I can only answer for the Animed HA I purchased. I bought it for my arthritic mare and read it is safe for people too so I thought I'd do my own trial. I filled a dropper bottle and took a dropper full along with vitamin D3 5000 IU each morning for a month. In that month my knees stopped hurting when I walked and my left shoulder stopped hurting also when I lifted items and cleaned. So I'm all for it. My undocumented research worked for me. It would work for your horse and you too.
