I was using another muscle supplement that was more expensive and I decided to try Muscle-Up and found it to work just as well and more affordable.

Will this make my horse hot? Looking to strengthen muscles surrounding stifles. Had minor results with exercise and want a boost.
Diane H on Nov 18, 2014
Best Answer: I have been feeding AniMed Muscle-UP to an older quarter horse mare that is a hard keeper and has joint issues from gaming. I don't think it made her "hot" at all. The most obvious effect that it has is that it stimulates her appetite, so she is eating more. I have not seen significant weight gain either, but she does have better muscle tone, and appears to be more comfortable.

I have a 7 year old Arabian/mustang and he's really really hyper all the time, I wanted to try this product because I want him to muscle up like a quarter horse, he's fat but he has no muscle and I barrel race so he kinda needs the muscle. I just wanted to make sure that it won't make him even more hyper? And can I still continue working him even when he eats this?
Head u on Aug 3, 2016
Best Answer: The mare that i am feeding it to has not got hot from eating it. It helped to rebuild her top line and filled the muscle back in on her hips, heart area and barrel. To my knowledge it is made for performance horses and there is not a withdraw period from feeding to working your horse. From the ingredients i dont see anything that would make your horse 'high' or hot. I would keep in mind that this only helps and brings out what mother nature already gave the horse. Meaning it wont make big bulky muscle if the horse didnt have it to begin with.

Will this make my horse even more hyper? He's already very hyper anyways, can I continue to work him? He hardly has any muscle and he's 7 years old.. Any suggestions?
Head u on Aug 3, 2016
Best Answer: It did not make my horse hyper when he was put on it. One thing that i did with a hyper mare was i put her on a high fat diet and it not only helped her with muscle but it also helped to calm her down. a good combination i found was this supplement and empower boost.

Best Answer: I'm not sure. I feed it to an 8yr old. I wouldn't think it would be harmful though.

Can this muscle up be fed at the same time along with weight up for a ribby horse with poor topline, shoulders and withers?
Donna D on Dec 10, 2015
Best Answer: I use muscle up all the time. It works great. I would not use it with anything else. Just lots of water. Keep the horse on sweet feed, hay as ND regular wormer. If you want keep the horse on 2 scoops of muscle longer.

This seems to have a lot of sugar. Can I use this on a 16 year old gelding with EMS?
Dee S on Mar 4, 2016
Best Answer: Probably not, but to be certain, we have to recommend that you check with your veterinarian, since the answer would depend on your particular horse's blood work.

Can you feed this to a young horse like around four or five years of age?
Marsha McCay on Feb 25, 2014
Best Answer: I feed this to my horses three years and up... I find it helps keep them together when they normally would get lanky.. it hasn't affected those horses started at three down the road in anyway... I think its a great suppliment to add to finish out their diet
