This product had lots of good reviews and I am looking for a supplement to help my horses bulk up a bit, they tend to get a little thin when I am training them full time.

JANICE T on Apr 17, 2015
I love this product for my horses in the spring as I begin to leg them back up, this really helps to elimate any soreness issues they may have, also great if you compete in two day rodeos to give for your horse to keep him feeling great both days or rigorous training. Or old horses before and after a long trail.

I was looking for a supplement to protect my huge paint's muscles while he started hard training. I chose AniMed because I have used them for years and have always been happy with their products.
DOMINIQUE C. S on Sep 22, 2014
We had a long brutal winter and frankly, I don't think our Arab is gentically equipt to handle that weather. He lost a lot of muscle tone and needs help with that. So, I'm hoping this will do the trick, it appears to be most comprehensive. Other than that, he's back to his arrogant old self, lol.

Used it on a 10yr old quarter that was looking sluggish and losing muscle tone. After about a week noticed a huge difference in stamina and muscles started to appear more solid. Great product!
Jeffrey T on Feb 21, 2014
I am using this item to put muscle on a horse that I rescued. This horse has NO muscle or fat on him at all and I think this product will help with that. I have used this in the past to put a little bulk on my show mare and also to help her with muscle recovery after hard workouts. Works great.

Will this make my horse hot? Looking to strengthen muscles surrounding stifles. Had minor results with exercise and want a boost.
Diane H on Nov 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have been feeding AniMed Muscle-UP to an older quarter horse mare that is a hard keeper and has joint issues from gaming. I don't think it made her "hot" at all. The most obvious effect that it has is that it stimulates her appetite, so she is eating more. I have not seen significant weight gain either, but she does have better muscle tone, and appears to be more comfortable.
I have a 7 year old Arabian/mustang and he's really really hyper all the time, I wanted to try this product because I want him to muscle up like a quarter horse, he's fat but he has no muscle and I barrel race so he kinda needs the muscle. I just wanted to make sure that it won't make him even more hyper? And can I still continue working him even when he eats this?
Head u on Aug 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The mare that i am feeding it to has not got hot from eating it. It helped to rebuild her top line and filled the muscle back in on her hips, heart area and barrel. To my knowledge it is made for performance horses and there is not a withdraw period from feeding to working your horse. From the ingredients i dont see anything that would make your horse 'high' or hot. I would keep in mind that this only helps and brings out what mother nature already gave the horse. Meaning it wont make big bulky muscle if the horse didnt have it to begin with.
Will this make my horse even more hyper? He's already very hyper anyways, can I continue to work him? He hardly has any muscle and he's 7 years old.. Any suggestions?
Head u on Aug 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It did not make my horse hyper when he was put on it. One thing that i did with a hyper mare was i put her on a high fat diet and it not only helped her with muscle but it also helped to calm her down. a good combination i found was this supplement and empower boost.
is this product safe for yearlings in training?
A shopper on Jul 13, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure. I feed it to an 8yr old. I wouldn't think it would be harmful though.
Can i use this on my aqha that i show? Or will it come up on a dtug test for illegal drugs?
A shopper on Oct 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's just a supplement with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc. It should not test. No different than show horses on coat supplements

Can this muscle up be fed at the same time along with weight up for a ribby horse with poor topline, shoulders and withers?
Donna D on Dec 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I use muscle up all the time. It works great. I would not use it with anything else. Just lots of water. Keep the horse on sweet feed, hay as ND regular wormer. If you want keep the horse on 2 scoops of muscle longer.
Is this legal to continue use through show season? Loving the results so far!!
Cami L on May 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We use it on racehorses when they are post race tested without issue.

BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately we cannot give out medical advise. I would contact your veterinarian.

Marsha McCay on Feb 25, 2014
