Our horses have great skin and coats thanks in part to this oil
Lighter than vegetable oil and single source so it's free of impurities. We feed 2-3 oz. per horse twice a day and the difference in their skin and coats from the time we started them to now is amazing. It didn't take long to see improvement either. We didn't have any problems when we added it to their food, no bloat, stomach discomfort, nothing. We recently added a horse and in a months time you can see the dapples in his coat. Sometimes I sneak a bit for my hands after cleaning buckets, it absorbs really well. Highly recommend if you're looking to add oil to your horses diet.

Excellent Product!
I bought rice bran oil mainly to help my horses take their powdered medicine easier but it is also very healthy for them. Win Win!

Great Supplement!
Our horses are healthy to begin with, but their coats are even more brilliant after using this rice bran oil! It must be quite palatable because none of our horses object to it being poured on their grain, and they all eat their dinner eagerly.

Horses love the taste and it's good for them. I believe it has helped my horses' coats too and offers a good way to hide unpleasant tasting powder medicines.

BEST ANSWER: Pls feel free to forward the following reply to the other customer:

YES, rice bran oil is excellent for humans. I've been using it for a month for all my cooking for my husband and myself. We learned about rice bran oil from the manager of a restaurant we frequent on Jekyll Island. They make excellent fish and chips and I inquired about the oil. My husband is sensitive to many kinds of oil, but never had a problem with their fish and chips. The manager there, Dan, explained how he had researched various oils to use in the restaurant, which in the winter particularly has a large clientele of snow birds, like us, and many of us have developed food sensitivities as we age. He told us that rice bran oil has a very high smoke temp and numerous health benefits. I looked into ordering some from various health food stores locally (no luck, but I suggested they look into carrying some brands of rice bran oil),. Until they do, I simply ordered a gallon. I may not use it all by the expiration date, but it was so cheap that I don't care. So far, I love cooking with it and all the foods I've prepared come out exceedingly well. Try it!!
Is it high in Phosphorus? In other words would I have to add a Calcium supplement as with rice bran itself?
