Positive results from daily use of Ulc-R-Aid
My horse internalizes stress and anxiety. After I thought about it for a while, I realized his stomach was probably messed up because of the acid that the stress would produce, and that's why he would get agitated. I decided to try Ulc-R-Aid to see if it would make a difference and perhaps help him relax. I am pleased to say that it definitely has made a difference. He is more relaxed and happier, which makes me happier too! I will continue feeding Ulc-R-Aid as part of his daily feed routine. My friend saw my horse's positive results and has now put his horse on it.

After trying Ulc-R-Aid on a mare with severe gastric issues with amazing results, I decided to put the entire ranch on this product! All the horses seem quite comfortable and the annoying habits like chewing everything, pawing, cinchyness, more willing under saddle, etc are gone! All of the horses' appetites have improved and they have wonderful toplines! Their attitudes towards each other has also improved-there is no more kicking and biting each other during turnout or over corrals. This product has brought Peace to my horses and myself! Thank you for making such a wonderful and affordable product!

I've had a rescue mare on this product for 3 years now. She came to me with old ulcers from malnutrition . Her stool was so loose it was like water. She now lives comfortably and has a happy life. Highly recommend !

Ulcer help for my chronic cribber
My mare came to me as a rescue with ulcers from stress and not being fed properly. She'd reach for the first horizontal piece of wood after eating her grain and whenever tied for grooming. Wearing a cribbing collar has had some success. At 6, she's too young to spend a lifetime with worn teeth. I've tried other products; however, this one seems to be working well and is less expensive than the others. Been giving her this for a few weeks and we are seeing longer and longer periods where she will stand without trying to crib. She seems less interested in chewing her windowsill after eating her grain.

A Top clinitian recomended I look into ulcer medication for my horse due to his certian manurisims. I have been searching for options for months and this appears to be the most reasonably priced with applying directly to the isseues.

I have a horse who has chronic diarrhea. My vet wasn't able to find anything wrong with him. He is a little high strung and I think he may have an ulcer. This really helps keep his diarrhea under control.

This has saved my mare with terrible ulcer flare-ups. We've been feeding this to her once a day with her bran mash and she hasn't had an episode in over 2 years since we started her on this product. It has saved us thousands of dollars in vet bills and probably her life!

If used in addition to via calm, is that putting too much calcium and/or magnesium in their system ? They seem to have essentially the same ingredients.
Tina M on Aug 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If the ingredients are nearly the same then I personally would just switch to the Ulc-R-Aid. I have been using this product on all of my horses and it has a very calming effect as well as a great immune booster. It is Very effective on ulcer prone horses. I start a new horse on a loading dose for about 2 weeks or until they start noticablly passing gas, then back them down to the normal dose. My mares seem much less cranky then they were now and the Stallions are all calm and comfortable.
Powder or pellet?
Marlowe W on Apr 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Powder. Every horse I have put on it has eaten it with no problems. I currently have 15 horses on it daily. I've been using this product for years and really like it. Sandee
Is it pelleted form, powder or ?

BEST ANSWER: It's a powder form which I like and sticks to their feed , I love this stuff
how long do you feed ulc-r-aid to them?
A shopper on Oct 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: From my experience as long as they are being put into the stressful situation that causes the ulcers you give it to them. When the training or situation changes or ends and you turn them out you can stop. It may take something stronger to get them under control initially. A prescription from your yet
Would Animed Ulc-R-Aid help with adding needed Magnesium and immune support for an Insulin Resistant horse? She tends toward obesity. I'd like to get her up to 16 grams of Magnesium a day for about three months then decrease until I can find right dosage to keep symptoms away. That means I'd have to feed about 6 1/2 oz of Animed a day. Would that be TOO MUCH of the other included supplements? Or should I use this, plus add Magnesium straight supplement with it? Or should I look for different product altogether? My goal is immune support, gut health and Magnesium/Calcium balance. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
TRINA S on Mar 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Has your horse been diagnosed with insulin resistance by a vet? Either way, it sounds like she has some very specific needs that should be addressed by a vet. A doctor can assess whether or not the ingredients cover the needs of your horse. Best of luck!
Can this product be used when using a probiotic product, or is this overkill?
A shopper on Mar 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We use both to keep our gelding's gut happy. They work together well for him. If he is going to be in a situation where he will be stressed we add omeprazole as well. Having free choice grass hay and no grain has been helpful.
