These did not work for the Australian saddle.
I purchased these stirrups for Australian Outrider Stock Saddle with Horn. The leather straps did not fit in the holes. You could use them with out putting the leather in the holes, but the brass coating chipped off just taking them out of the box. They also were poorly made as they had a hole in the Aluminum from not being properly manufactured. Guess they did not have enough aluminum to fill the mold lol.I did not like them at all and sent them back.RH

A bit too bulky for me
these are very nice and good quality stirrups - however I felt they were a bit too heavy and bulky for me.

Nice light irons
I am happy to finally ditch my leather covered aluminum irons and complete my saddle with brass. They are light weight and look good. I gave it only one star for pet approval because my mare didn't seam impressed at all. I would have just left it blank, but the sight won't let me.

Good and big
Bought these because they are large and fit my Redwing steal toe work boots. They are VERY big. Gold finish could have been left off and will not last long the way I ride, but I don't care about that. Shined up they would have looked show ready. They will however work well for long rides as they are wide, big, and comfortable. Would not recomend for small feet as the chances of slip through could be a problem, my big clod hoppers won't.
