It's not a pad!
I have an Australian saddle and I needed a new pad. This product is so thin, that it shouldn't be called a pad. Now I have to pay to send it back!

Nice size, large pockets
Was looking for a lighter pad for summer with pockets and it seems this will do.

Great pads that wear and wash well and have good padding but aren't too thick.
I have been buying these for years. They wear and wash well and pad nicely without being too thick. The pockets are perfect for lunch, water bottles, a rope halter and flat lead rope. I can even fit compact hobbles and a rain poncho in. I think this set may be a little longer ( front to back) which I like -- but the old ones may have shrunk by that much.A bonus: they look really good with our orthoflex saddles.

Excellent large sized pad
I bought this pad about a month ago. It is serving me well. It is quite large and fits with room in front and behind my Australian saddle. It stays put. The pockets have compartments to separate gear while trail riding. I can stuff in a spare rope bridal, hoof pick, trail pass, disposable rain poncho, and small can of human bug spray. I'm not crazy over the buckles that close the pockets but they work. Most pads barely fit the front to back of my saddle and some of the saddle padding would get horsey. This pad is large which is what I want'ed my my 15.3 hand Tennessee walker, "Moose." My friend has a pad that looks the same but is three-four inches smaller. I use a thin felt liner under it so I haven't had to wash the pad. It looks washable to me.

Double stitching, double pockets and durability make this product our favorite.
My husband and I take long rides in the mountains and have found that this pad is the best for us. The pad hoses off for a quick sweat removal and can be washed in a machine. For best results I pre- soak and then use a scrub brush on the underside. They last us several years of heavy use and only get holes in the pockets when we carry something sharp ( like a hoof pick). We prefer this fabric because it doesn't hold an odor like the Tuff-rider. It is also larger than the Tuff-rider which fits our saddles better. The pad has double pockets and is double stitched all around

overpriced
This pad is very similar to the Tuffrider English AP pads priced at $18. My pouches ripped open in the bottoms within a year if purchase. Both sides. The last pad i had similar to this lasted 5 years. Also seems to take an extraordinary amount of time to dry out between rides. Strange considering the pad is so thin.

Disapointed
At first I loved this pad, till I washed it....It shrunk so bad I had to give it to a friend who has a real small saddle...

Gigantic
Biggest saddle pad ever. Way to big for my horse, I will be selling this one for sure.

Great Aussoe Pad
This pad stays in place without slipping, no need to tie to saddle. Pockets are large enough to hold water bottle. Washes well, durable.

Have had one of these for years, works great for English and Australian saddles when you don't want to rig up a saddle bag.

is the drop mesurement the same on both sides? or is it the total width of the pad?

BEST ANSWER: Measures 23.5" spine x 30" drop x 1/2" thick
Is this pad suitable for a "cut-back" saddle and pad for TWH?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't know for sure, but I imagine it would work fine. I use it with a rather compact Australian saddle. I have a hard time with sizing because my mare is a clydesdale. She is a runt, but tack can still be a bit tricky. This quilt fits her beautifully. I would highly recommend an additional pad or support underneath this. It is great quality and the pockets are great on trail, but it is quite thin.
