Why did you choose this? Store
My veterinarian and equine chiropractor recommended this to aid with keeping my mare's back stay warm and loose. She is a tense TB and this should help, among the other modalities we are employing.

Because I'm a saddle pad hoarder. And I like BoT products, and I believe that even for a young horse if you do what you can to protect their backs their whole career, you shouldn't ever have soreness issues.

Will this pad work with a western gaited trail saddle?
A shopper on Nov 3, 2014
Best Answer: Not sure about a Western Saddle. This pad might be too small. The dressage equivalent might be a better fit since a dressage saddle is larger and the flaps are longer. It would be nice if there was one specifically for your saddle type. I really love the pad. It keeps my horse's back warm and loose during our rides, especially during the cold winter months.
