Are these lines for when you are behind the horse? Also, what is the shortest lines like these should be? I have a 7 1/2 month old filly I'm trying to train.
CHARISA M on Nov 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: We got a pair for long-lining and it turns out that we only use them for normal lunging, because they are way to long for long-lining. You either have a lot of lines looped in your hands, or you are dragging them in the dirt! Yes, it is "safer" to have more distance to the horse, but if you are working in a 20m circle, the lines are so long, that they get tangled easily behind you or wrapped around your leg. I don't like using them!
I only received one...was I not supposed to get 2 lines?
