Would fit a draft
I ordered a Horse size and even though it it a very good price, its just not like the other fly bonnets I have, my horse has very big ears but it is even too big for her. Overall though its good quality and you can't beat a price like that.

Needs a different tie.
It fit great, and is very soft. My horse shook it off within 5 minutes. And he only tried once. He does not tolerate things on his ears. So I knew this could be a challenge. It stayed tied around his neck, but it was totally off his ears. I need to figure out a way to tie it to his halter/bridle.

Nice and lightweight for trail riding
I actually like the product...perfect for the trail. Helps that my guy is very easy going as far as his tack is concerned. I had more of an issue with the shipping costs for something so small and light.

Love these fly veils
they work great at keeping flies out of horses ears, I use them every time we ride now, keeps my horses very happy and less bugged by flies

Easy fit
The fly veil works well when trail riding. It keeps the flies and other insects off of the horse's ears and eyes. Easy to put on and take off. I like to put it on before I bridle my horse so the bridle helps hold the fly veil on. Easy tie string holds the veil on around the throat latch.I use the fly veil every time I trail ride.

Great crochet design and quality.
I liked the crochet areas but the ears were too tight. I cut those out. NOW I and my horses are happy with their fly veils.

Horses loves these
We live in Minnesota where gnats and flies of all sorts are horrible and make riding in the wooded areas almost unbearable. I have one of these for every horse we ride and the horses love them. They work great and stay on well if I put them on under the bridle. My horses are so used to having these on when we ride, that they anticipate them being put on like another piece of tack. The ear pieces can be a little large on some horses with smaller ears, but my horse has large ears and they fit very well.

I love it!!
So I have a HUGE quarter horse and a small Arab and I would like to by a ear bonnet that can fit both of them and it does I bought three and they work really well they are easy to clean and they stop my horses from rearing up because when flies get in the horse instead of shaking there rear and jump and I have fallen off many times in the summer by that and I put it on now and it completely stops I think these are keepers and will be buying these next year

The ears were WAY too big!
I really like this thing! It's very pretty, but it took me a while to get it on his head but that's only because he does not like his ears being touched. One ear was way longer than the other and they were each like 34 inch too big! You think they'd fit my appaloosa gelding!

My horses don't like fly masks - they rub them off. Wanted to keep the deer flies off their ears and hope the fringe will help keep flies out of their eyes.

My horse has pink pigmentation around his left eye. I was hoping that this would help with the glare from the sun and help keep the flies out of his eye while riding.

Would this be big enough to use on a 16.3hh horse who has a HUGE head?
Lauren P on May 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Possibly, though it might be too small. I have a 16 h Quarter Horse with a refined, almost Arabian like head, but big ears. It just fits his ears. There is plenty of extra fringe length and forehead width, and the throatlatch tie is very long.
Would this fit a small pony?
Zoe P on Jun 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have a horse and I love them keep fly of my horse face and cover my horse ears and keeps fly of the ears
for your pony you might have to make the ears smaller but I have a few of them and I love them for my horse
Is it safe to keep it on all day?
A shopper on Mar 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I bought two only for when I go riding because even with fly and bug spray the flies and gnats run the horses crazy once they start sweating. They are great for keeping the aggravating bugs out of their ears. Not sure about leaving them on all day as they tie from ear to ear under their throat. Use your own judgment.
What kind of blue is the blue? Navy, royal, or light blue?
Amanda on Jan 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Royal. It's like a medium royal blue...Very bright and saturated in color.
Is the purple a dark royal or something like a lavender shade?
Nictorious on Jul 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: the one we have is a dark royal purple, very pretty and we like it.
How would you describe the shade of red? Looking for burgundy/maroon. Can't understand why it's such a hard color to find :(
AnnMarie W on May 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Its red. Not close to maroon or burgundy at all. I have 3 of them.
