great handy pieces to have
Need for a mariad of uses; nosebands, pole covers, breast collar covers at the wither/neck. Easy to use and last decent amount of time.

Happy with Purchase
Instead of buying the expensive fleece covers for the Dare cribbing collar, I thought I'd give this much cheaper halter cover a try. I was pleasantly surprised by how thick and sturdy these are. They fit the cribbing collar, and are even holding up better to weather, dirt, and use. The color isn't fading yet either. And I was glad to have a color choice other than white which just turns dirt brown. Very happy.

Poor Quality Sewing
I thought this would be great for my cribbers collar. First off, it won't stay in place, and secondly when putting it on carefully, I was not yanking on it whatsoever, it began to tare. The stitching is not done very well at all. I have sewn plenty of clothing and curtains and can tell a good stitching job when I see one.Not happy about this, thankfully I can fix it, but when I buy something, I don't want to have to redo the sewing job myself.

I got two red ones when I ordered grazing muzzles for two of our mares. I felt like they would make the strap on the muzzle more comfortable and also make the muzzles earlier to find should the horses rub them off in the pasture. They eventually rubbed them off and I'm 50% on finding them. Definitely make the strap more comfortable

perfect
I bought these because one of myhorses new leather halter rubbed off hair behind her ears. After using these her hair grew back (wrong color though!)but I always wash and use these on my horses from now on. Glad to have these!

Does this velcro on and off or is it a tube you just slide over the crown?

BEST ANSWER: It is a tube, no Velcro. I bought to use with the the grazing muzzles I ordered. I anticipated my horses rubbing the muzzle off so used a red one to not only cushion the strap on crown but also make the muzzle easier to find out in the pasture.
