WAY too small...
I bought these for my thin boned thoroughbred and they were way too small. Will be exchanging since they seem like good quality for the price.

So/so
These bell boots are so/so. I like the soft synthetic fleece lining, however the hook & loop straps to secure them are of two different sizes. The top one is much narrower than the bottom one & has torn right off of both boots with minimal use. I will be going back to the original Davis bell boots I've used for years, as their straps are much tougher & lasted years, not months.

So far so good, likely too large for 800-900 lb horses
So far so good with these boots, the fleece has held up. I did find them a little large through around the pastern. I could fit about 3 fingers between the boot and the pastern. My horse is a 15.1HH QH, 1000lbs and wears a size zero shoe.

Great little boots!
I was expecting one boot for the price, and was very pleased to receive a pair! The lining is very soft, the velcro closure is secure and nice looking, and the boots fit my boy like a glove! Thanks so much!

My horse needs boots for turn out and I was concerned about regular ones rubbing.. Hopefully these will prevent rubs but hold up as well as the pull on ones

What size are these boots?
A shopper on Mar 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Not exactly what size they are, but they fit fairly loose on my big saddlebred. I use them upside down instead of bedsore boots, and really like the soft fleece since he has them on a lot.
Is this a pair?

Will the fleece cause scratches if the horse is outside when it rains or in wet climates? Recommend for winter?
Lsnider09 on Jun 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I've had horses wear them in the winter, and in rain and never had any problems with the fleece. I DID have a lot of trouble with rubs when I used bell boots without the fleece. I had two pairs per horse and would switch them out about every 4-6 weeks to wash one set. They lasted for months, very durable.
are these Large size or XL ?
philippa b on Jun 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would say large, my horse is 16.1 and wears shoe size 1. It covers from cornet band to lower heal, level with ground. If you let out the Velcro 1/2 inch, it will easily fit 16.2 with larger hoof. Any bigger than that get an extra large. They are very soft and easily washed with a hose in cold water.
Are these boots Shire brand?
Dane S on Aug 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I do not see a brand name or logo on the boots. I do like the boots though. They are helping to keep my mare from steppng her shoes off.
When will black be available?
