A needed implement at the ranch.
Having multiple horses and some of them not as mindful as others, a stud chain is needed. They do last for a few years, but not a lifetime. The plating comes off and rust/corrosion takes over. After a while the clip gets so sticky that it won't open or close, so it's time to get dumped. That's why I needed to buy a new one. Still they are a good thing to have.

Great Chain- good length
Works great to snap on to a lead or a lunge line when needed.

Serves the purpose
My mom has one similar that I like better, but I can't find that one anywhere so I had to buy the one on this website. I am very happy with it. It is used the same way as I would use my moms.

like the nickel plaiting. I am small and my horse gets a bit nervous in new places. This helps me keep him under control when attached to halter and lead.
