OK.....
Not the best halter. Could have been less pricer. Lead is a rope the size of my finger. Not the best

Not so good
I have a 14.3 hand QH mare and this halter is way to big. Also the rawhide on the nose is coming off and I only had it for a few weeks. Lead rope is very strange, thin and short.

Awesome halter - strange lead rope
I love this halter! It is very light and comfortable for my mare to wear, yet the rawhide on the nose makes her aware of my being in control. Additionally tbd rawhide is very soft and flexible which again makes for a comfortable wear. A great buy and value! The lead rope on the other hand is kind of a joke. It is not even 1/2 inch thick which makes it hard to hold. In the event your horse were to take off you'd end up with rope burn... So I replaced it with a regular lead and now have the perfect rope halter! I can only recommend it.

too small
I really liked the looks of this rope halter but that is where it ends. It is way too small to fit appropriately for a rope halter. It may fit a yearling ok if it is not big joweled. Part of rope halter's purpose is to put pressure on key points when a horse pulls back. The design of his halter does not allow for it...it fits exactly as the picture...do not expect the halter to put pressure behind the jowls...only the poll and if the horse really fights pulling back he will slip right out of it.

amazing
this is a good halter i love it it works with my 2 pushy mares and it works for trailoring to my friend she cut off the rope an d kept halter and she uses it for riding and it works good they listen right away
Like, but not Love...
I got this halter thinking that it would be better for the rawhide, etc.. but I also got one without that, and I use it just as, if not more often than this one. It has held up fine, not falling apart or anything, I just don't like it as much. All things considered, if I were to do it over, I would get another cheaper one. Hope this helps:)
