Efficient (seems to work as a repellent), price is right and scent smells good.

A fine fly spray!
As usual, merchandise arrived faster than expected! Bronco works as well as any fly spray... I like that it does not build up a sticky residue as some other sprays do. I get the Gallon size and refill old spray bottles... So every so often I need to buy a new spray bottle size. Also I do not have to add water to make the proper concentration (always a messy deal). Love the smell!

Easy to use. Horses accept well.
Easily refill sprayers with a funnel. Horses have no poor responses to use or scent. Does not stain clothing.

Doesn't work (At least not in MN)
If this fly spay repels any kind of bugs at all, they do not live in Minnesota. I rarely write reviews, but this fly spray is worth it. I use Piranha on my mare. I haven't used enough different fly spays to call it the best, but I think it works well. I'm not really sure why I had a bottle of bronco in my locker to begin with, but one day (right before the vet came out) I was out of Piranha and desperate for anything that would keep the worst of the bugs away. I put a coat of Bronco on my mare, and nothing happened. I put a second coat on, then a third. Absolutely no reduction in the number of flies on my horse. The bugs were irritating my mare's legs the most, so I literally poured the rest of the bottle onto her hooves. Still had absolutely no effect. I honestly find it hard to believe that Bronco is anything more than water. The only use I can think of for Bronco is to water down a more potent fly spray to make it last longer. Doesn't matter how cheap it is if it doesn't work.

The Best Fly Spray I've Used
I've used many different fly sprays down at my local stable, I found this one the most effective. It was the best one at preventing flies, especially horse flies which are very common in our area. Before using Bronco whenever we rode even in the round pen for 30 minutes our horses (and us) were attacked by flies. This past year was the worst they've been and nothing worked except Bronco. We even had a gelding with a semi fresh cut on his leg, we sprayed him with this and the spray didn't bother him and nor did the flies. This stuff works miracles!

Use with fly predators
Really not very strong, but works sufficiently when used in conjunction with fly predators. Doesn't irritate skin, or attract grime. Only twice this summer have we needed fly sheets.

the same thing happened to me as someone else who wrote a review. i had the bronco gold (which i got at my tack shop) and it worked amazingly. i went back to get more after i had run out to find there was none left. so i got this instead. its awful! it doesnt kill or repel anything. i will spray it directly on flies that are sitting on my horse and they dont even flinch. It might repel like 2 flies but other than that it is very bad. It doesnt work at all. in order to give any protecting i have to use almost jhalf a bottle and that still wont work. im very dissapointed.

Bronco is a waste of money
This product is sold very cheaply and must be mostly water. It has no fly repellant qualities that I have seen. I have seen it used, and even purchased it myself and am always surprised it is still on the shelves. Save your money and skip this product.

How long does this spray last? I've heard this wears off very quickly.
Elise on Jun 13, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I use this spray because it is non-oily like some of the other fly sprays. It usually lasts for the duration of a trail ride, but you may need to reapply if you're on a very long trail ride or your horse is sweating heavily. If you are using it just to control flies in the barn or pasture, it's probably only good for a day and would need to be reapplied daily.
Can this be used on dogs for black biting flies on the beach?
Dina H on Jun 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The clickable product label shows it can be used on horses, dogs, and their premises.
