Bungee Trailer Tie
Looks like it will work well.

Will never buy anything else again
I bought a pair of these strictly because they were on sale. I liked them fine until the day we saw them work in action. Now I will not buy anything else and immediately purchased 3 more. We had an incident where a horse was attached to the trailer when he flipped out at being connected and it looked like it was going to end badly. This tie was a miracle! The bungee gave just enough to keep the horse from severely escalating and bought us just enough time to unhook him before anything snapped or the trailer tipped. The tie itself was stretched beyond repair but still intact, just…… mangled a bit. Haha. It served its purpose and we didn’t have a dead, injured, or lose horse. Highly recommend.

good purchase
perfect length and nice hardware. Looks to be quality made. Not sure how long they will hold up knowing the material used is prone to dry rot. They will stay in the trailer unexposed so I expect a decent lifetime out of these, especially for the price!

Great Product!
I ordered 3 of the tie downs from horse.com because of the price! I got the product and the quality is awesome! This was the best price I could find anywhere

used, abused and great a year later
These have been used in a stock trailer and have had some unruly, upset horses putting them to the test for a year so far. The weather has not deteriorated them despite being uncovered. I am ordering more to use as cross ties for a wash rack.

Excellent product for a excellent price
I went to buy this bungee trail tie at our local Big Letter store, and they did not have a big selection. The price was so high and I did not like all the colors they had. I just wanted white. I got online at Horse.com and found the exact color I wanted and the price was so good. I got it on sale and price was less than half of what they wanted at the Big Letter store. I recommend this product.

Dry rots in 60 days
Im in florida and I go through these things like flyspray. They dryrot within 60 days, even when kept inside tack room of horse trailer. Cord frays then rubber inside falls apart. Dangerous if not inspected all the time. BUT the bungee works so well with the horses, better than hard tie nylon straps. I have moved to "safety snaps" and they are the bomb!

Doesn't last
I liked these when I first got them and I left them in the trailer at the tie points. Never had any problems with the snaps or anything. HOWEVER after 3 weeks INSIDE the trailer the outside covering started to deteriorate and fall apart, but only in the middle section of the tie. I am not sure why they have fallen apart but they are now unsafe to use after only a few months of using them and even at that only having a horse attached to the end for maybe 3 hours TOTAL! One of them has only ever been used twice! The bungee in them is deteriorated so bad and they are falling apart! I really like the concept but I would buy a different brand.

Good Ties
These work amazing for my 4 Arabian Geldings. I have 1 Arab that just loves to pull back and snap ties in the barn and while traveling to the shows. These work great for him. Also I have one that is very nervous when tied and these are amazing for him too. Would recommend them

I like my horses to be secured in when they are in the trailer. I think it helps them balance but also, it is a quick release if there is ever an emergency and I need to unload them in a hurry.

what is the length of the ties?
A shopper on Aug 5, 2014
BEST ANSWER: •30" L x 1/2" thick
what is the rated breaking weight?
A shopper on Feb 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The manufacturer does not list the breaking weight only that the bungee cord will break if stretched 3 times it's length.
