Great buy
I've always liked the nylon versus leather latigos for bulk. The leather ones always make a lump under your leg while riding and are harder to adjust imo. This one especially is a perfect length for me and is super flexible.

Love it
My new saddle came with a latigo but it was to small, I ordered this one and it is much easier to work with and the perfect size for my fat horse.

good for the price
I needed tie straps for a spare saddle but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This is perfect.

Just OK
It seems much shorter than I expected. But i needed an extra for a crossfire rigging and it seems to be working. I didn't want to spend a fortune and for the price it is doing it's job. Sadly ordered the wrong color make sure you click the right box.

Useful Product
I really like nylon billets and latigos because I live in a dry, high desert climate that isn't kind to leather. Nylon is more reliable, easier to care for and a better bargain. These Cashel billets and latigo are definitely worth it. I highly recommend them.

I love these... have used them for years. Not bulky like leather ones. Inexpensive so I replace them often. Very easy to cinch up, but you must be careful because they are so easy you can get them to tight. I always check by making sure I can run my hands under the cinch. A friend used my saddle and my horse this weekend, and thank goodness I checked the cinch. She about had him cut in half.. I felt so bad for my horse...even if he just stood there for a few minutes before I caught it.

Like the extra length of this to use for my center fire rigged saddles.

Does it come with an off billet, or just a ladigo?

is the brown truly as light colored as it looks in the picture?
Tracey H on Apr 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is not a light brown nor a very dark brown. Much darker than tan to me. Hope this helps.
