The fly mask seems to work really well, I wish the ear covers were smaller , my horse has large ears, and the mask could cover a donkeys ears.
The fly mask works really well, I wish the ear covers were smaller , it is an adjustment to see the oversized

I love this fly mask. I just wish I realized the nose was not as long as I thought to prevent sunburn. But it works great, stays on and keeps the flies off.

Cashed quiet ride fly mask
I have purchased several of these fly masks for the horses. In my opinion is is the best mask on the market for several reasons. It is great for turnout and for riding because it is more fitted doesn’t flap and allows the horse to have a more panoramic view. It is lightweight and airy so the horses don’t sweat as much when wearing it. Some horses that have sensitive noses may not like the extended nose ( it tickles them and they will rub their muzzle which may tear the mask) so for those horses the mask without the extended nose may be better. Finally they machine wash and dry quickly. It may be slightly more expensive than other brand masks but if you purchase this mask you won’t be disappointed

Great product!
I've used a lot of fly masks and really like Cashel the best. The softer fabric feels comfortable and I like the more see-through aspect of it.
But it keeps the flies off. That's really all that matters!

Great product
Great fit, light, easy to put on. Stays on well while horse is out in the pasture, which is what I use it for. This is the second one I've purchased. Have one for another horse.

I like the Cashel masks I've previously purchase. This one is working out very well, too.

My horse hates flies and bugs and we have loads of the nasties in our area

It is complete coverage of the face during trail riding. My horse throws his head so hard that he throws the rein over his head to the other side. Go to keep the bugs off.

My Walker is super sensitive to flies. I already have the bug armor (which is awesome and has made it possible to ride)and the shorter mask, but wanted to try the long one to protect his nose.
John G on Apr 28, 2015
Never have we had so many bugs! Must be all the rain we received. Poor horse has a hard time going into the woods, so bought her one of these. Hoping it will solve the problem.

hopefully it will fit my horse better than the other I have

We've used the Crusader previously, but wanted to try what looks like a lighter mask for rides. Our horses really hate flies on their faces, so Cashel masks with ears do the trick!
Mary C on Dec 7, 2014
Its good, but the nose section gets dirty really fast. I hose it off after EVERY ride, but otherwise its great
KATELYN M on Sep 17, 2014
My horse hates anything around his face, he tosses his head to the point of irritation on my part. This works great for him, now we can ride in peace.

My horse shakes her head at the sight of bugs, used this while riding and the difference in her was unreal! Everyone commented on how much calmer she was, no head tossing. I'm buying a 2nd one for a spare. It fit right over the halter/bridle I was using...I'll never ride without it again!!

These mask are thin & light weight & the horses don't sweat like they do with other mask & they get complete protection for those hot summer days. I also like to put them on when horses are being transported.Protection is the key...

will this help block the sun from a white faced horse?
Carol M on Mar 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it sure does. I have a bald faced, blue eyed horse and she gets sun burned very easily when I dont use the fly mask. With other fly masks it would shade her eyes and everything, but her nose would still get sun burnt. With this fly mask, it covers her nose enough to keep it from burning too. It works really well! My mare didn't like wearing it at first, but she got used to it and I think she has figured out she hates me putting sun screen and aloe gel on her sun burnt nose more than putting her fly mask on. In addition to the sun blocking benefits, if you have a horse that doesn't like spider webs getting on their ears or face while you're trail riding, or bugs hitting their nose as you're riding, this works to solve those problems too. It's really a great product!
Would this be a good flymask for everyday use too?
Emily M on Jun 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I used it on my 2 horses everyday. We live Arizona and I felt that these were a little cooler for them then some of the other heavier fly masks when the temp hits 110 degrees. But because of the lighter mateial they are not quite as durable. My 2 horse are pretty easy on stuff so I did not have a problems, but if your horse(s) are a harder on there stuff they might not last long.
what size do i order for a 14 hand Peruvian Paso? about 1000 lb horse?
J J on Jan 9, 2017
I have 2 horses, 16 hand 1250 lb and a 16.2 1200 lb. They wear a horse size halter and that is what I ordered in the fly mask. The fit is perfect! I would suggest whatever size halter your horse wears is the size fly mask you should order
Does this attach with double-sided velcro to help ensure the horse won't get it off in the pasture?
A shopper on Mar 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: i only use this one for riding, its too light for the pasture, she would rip it. i have a heavier weight one that looks the same., she can't get it off but she had a paddock mate last year that was real good at taking it off of her.
Would this fit a yearling QH?
