JOHN G S on Nov 4, 2016
I have another one for my other horse and really like it. We ride around a lake often and the bugs are horrible. This allows my horse to be comfortable and still have full vision.
Gena H on Aug 10, 2016
looks comfortable
anne b on Jun 8, 2016
I ride in the thick woods in upstate NY and the deerflies are horrible. The horses really get tortured by them. I love the idea of this riding mask and I wont have to worry about his ears getting bit.

Perfect for trail riding. Light weight and doesn't obstruct horses vision.
ELLEN W on Sep 18, 2015
One gelding is very sensitive to biting insects and flies. This mask has been invaluable for his comfort and has totally reduce his distraction while working and trail riding! Would not think of taking him out without it anymore.
A E on Aug 31, 2015
good reviews

Used for our very elderly horse of 31. Has little vision. Protects him against flies without impeding what vision he has remaining.
VALERIE J N on Jun 22, 2015
keep flies off
Aloah D on Jun 17, 2015
We have one gelding who doesn't have much forelock/mane and this helps keep him safe from the bitey bugs of the forest trails.
DEANNE M on Jun 12, 2015
looks comfortable, horse has good visibility
GLORIA T on Jun 2, 2015
looks comfortable for the horse
Connie P on May 6, 2015
Even though made for riding, this mask is the coolest one I have found for both my horses. They put their heads down and cannot wait for the mask to be put on in the mornings. I live in Florida and the heavier masks are just too hot this time of year. With these masks along with their fly boots, the horses stay out in the pasture much longer enjoying the grass instead of standing in their stalls under the fans trying to keep away from the flies.
John G on Apr 28, 2015
Great product. Good quality. Fits well.
michael r on Apr 20, 2015
I have two already and I like that they are very light, which is appreciated in the heat and humidity of our Virginia summers. I also like that they are more translucent than many other masks so the horses can see a little better.
Kristen A on Apr 6, 2015
Hard to find small sizes for my horses. Thanks for having small sizes
Pamela H on Mar 28, 2015
Lite weight for him
Carol D on Mar 25, 2015
excellent product -- strong but sheer
Penny P on Mar 20, 2015
I chose this solely for the ear protection and used it for turnout. It held up fine but my Appaloosa had different ideas than I did about wearing it. He quickly figured out how to take it off! It does work well for trailing though.
Theresa D on Dec 27, 2014
I like the the netting that allows my horse to have better vision while wearing the mask. It is light weight and does not rub the horse's face as some masks do.
LIBBY W on Dec 10, 2014
to keep the flies off and to keep his eyes from being rubbed by the mask.
VICKI T on Sep 20, 2014
Love the quality of construction. Lightweight yet durable. Use it as a "nightcap" for my itchy Clydesdale mare.
JENNIFER H on Sep 14, 2014
Is a great riding mask. Keeps flies away but horse has clear view.
Carol R on Aug 4, 2014
The bugs/gnats drive our horses crazy; not when they are wearing there mask.
JANET C on Jun 22, 2014
I thought my horse was having trouble seeing through her regular Cashel fly mask so I ordered this one thinking she could see better. However, it is too flimsy and doesn't have the rigidity of the regular fly mask to keep it away from her eyes. I am returning it because it will bother her and affect her vision which is what I was trying to help in the first place.
NANCY D on Jun 16, 2014
Live in Florida. Makes summer trail riding so much more pleasant for horse. Bought second horse need a second mask.
JENIFER L on Jun 8, 2014
appears to be just what I want without bulk, reviews
DIANA D on May 30, 2014
I have very calm wonderful trail horses; however when we are on the trails and the flies, knats, and other pesky winged bugs are on their faces, ears, and around their eyes the horses get annoyed and uncomfortable which makes for a bad day for everyone. I ride with a saddle club and several others use these and love them! I can't wait till they get here!
Michelle O on May 29, 2014
never tried a ridding face mask, but as bad as the bugs are ridding in the woods, thought it might help
Eileen M on May 28, 2014
Went riding today at a park and the mosquitos were terrible... My sister had one on her horse and it really seemed to help.. and it was humid today and it didn't make the horse overly hot by wearing it..
Rena L on May 26, 2014
My horse does not like flies and this looks like a mask I can use on him so I can ride without him being "bugged".
Tammy C on May 17, 2014
Want a soft fly mask I can ride in (the horse ....not me)
Joanna W on May 12, 2014
I like the way it fits, looks durable and comfortable for the horse. I also like that I can put it on under the bridle. I do lots of trail riding and the gnats can really bother the horses in deep woods. The Cashel Quiet Ride looked like the best buy for me.
JUDITH K on Apr 22, 2014
Light but effective. I have one and it is great.
ROZANNE P on Apr 18, 2014
I don't really like to cover my horses eyes with traditional fly masks as I believe it does impair their sight. Cashel looks like they have done their homework on this mask to make it as see-through as possible and it looks comfortable for the horse to wear.
ANGELA S on Apr 18, 2014
needed for fly control.

Does this mask provide sun protection?
Britney L on Jul 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Probably not, its designed so it doesn't affect your horses vision.
how long are the ears? I have a large donkey, need to cover ears without cramping.
A shopper on Jun 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have a 16'3.5 inch warm blood and the ears are plenty long for him. Hope that helps.
Does this come in a size for minis? Also is the Arab size the same as cob?
A shopper on Apr 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I am unsure if this mask comes in mini size. But I would say that an Arab size would fit a cob or large pony. This is a great mask, our horses love these when we ride in the summer. They are not bothered by the bugs at all.
Why is this only for riding? My horse wears fly mask with ears all the time in his stall due to corneal ulcers (7 so far😳). This looks like it would be easier to see thru if he was having an issue. Is it easy to get off?
A shopper on Sep 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't use it at all during a ride. The bugs leave my mare alone during that time. I use it anytime but riding.

It is much easier for mine to see through, the others have been so heavy she pulled them off within a couple days. She loves this one, only pulled it off once.
Can I order this without the ears?
A shopper on Jul 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would not recommend it as the Flys bother the ears as well and I like to have my horse comfortable and protected. Also this mask is durable and should last you awhile
Is this Arab size?
BONNIE W on Jun 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I would presume it is. I purchased it for my quarter horse stallion. The mask was really nice. It fit him well, my stallion has a medium to small head. I would hope it would not be to big for an Arab size head. Unfortunately my horse did not like it and after a few hours he removed and by the time I got back out side he had torn it to shreds. He just does not like wearing a fly mask. But, I really did like the mask. Hope this helps to answer your question.
does this mask have hole for forelock?
A shopper on Nov 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it sure does have a hole for the forelock :)
I love this mask, btw. My horses wear them every day during fly season as their regular mask for several years now. Because they provide better night time visibility for the horse, if the horses still have their masks on after dark they have a lower risk of injury. You don't want to know how I know fly masks at night can be dangerous :).
you have this in Draft size? I see the sizing options but not the choice. Cashel Quiet Ride fly mask
Vicky on Jul 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Warmblood is the largest size we have available, and that is for horses approximately 1100-1500 lbs.
