Pretty good product
I added this cushion to a western saddle of mine and it stays in place nicely and adds just enough comfort to a no padded seat.

Tush Cushion
The pad really helped keep my tush from getting sore while riding. I wish it was thicker for more comfort on longer rides.

Comfy!
This saves my seat bones on long rides. It's necessary to really snug it up right behind the cantle to keep it secure, but once that's done, it pretty much stays put.

The quality could be better.
I have only used this once. It was comfortable but I am just concerned with the durability of this product. I was expecting better quality for the money.

Stays Put
I was nervous to purchase this as I wasn't sure how much it would slip and slide while I was riding. This product stays in it's place very well, and turned my rock hard Double T saddle into something I could trail ride in comfortably. Happy to purchase this instead of a whole new saddle!

This product definitely helps with riding comfort.
I bought this for my husband because he was developing pressure points on his bottom and I didn't want them to develop into sores. He is thin and has no fat or not enough for padding. This product has done pretty well in helping with it. It hasn't completely eliminated the problem and we may look into one of your gel products that may provide even more of a cushioned effect. But this product has really helped.

Super Comfy
This made my already comfy saddle over the top comfortable. It was nice to be able to go for a nice long ride without a sore butt at the end. My saddle is an endurance model western without a horn, and the pad stayed in place nicely with just the rear strap. Great!

I bought this along with the EZ Knee Stirrup connector to try to alleviate some of the discomfort my aging body feels on those long trail rides. I am so glad I bought them both! I can spend much longer in the saddle now!

I bought one a couple of years ago but gave it to a friend in need. Finally getting one for myself. Took a fall off my horse last year and now the low back and tail bone get sore so I decided to add some cush to my tush.

My saddle is to big and I can't afford a new one I barrel race and I'm looking for something to put on the saddle to make my not slide as much will this do it at top speed or something else??
A shopper on Aug 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I am a greenhorne and know nothing about barrel racing. I bought this cushion for a very long pack trip mule ride into the mountains. I can tell you it saved my citified tush and gave me no problems at all with slipping, in spite of a lot of abuse..
is this mushy like a gel?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't call it mushy. It does provide a nice layer of comfort between you and a well used saddle. I brought it on trip riding in the Rockies for a week and it made a world of difference. It saved my butt so to speak.
I have a bareback pad that needs a little more cushion right along the spine. I figure this tush cushion won't anchor well (no horn, no cantle). I'm curious whether I can slip it under a bareback pad and have it stay put. My bareback pad has a non-slip backing, and is larger overall than the tush cushion, so I should still get a non-slip ride. What do you think?
Ginny S on Feb 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would not suggest putting this under your bareback pad. I think this might cause unwanted pressure directly to your horse's back. It has "sticky" strips on the underside which help it to stay in place. Best option mightbe to open up the top fabric of your pad and install it permanently, maybe with some velcro to secure in place. You could also cut the "holder straps" in 1/2 and stitch them to the bareback pad to secure the cushion. I hope this helps.
can you use this cushion on a hornless endurance saddle. If not what can you use?
LAURIE G on Mar 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Technically, there is no reason why you can't use the cushion on a hornless saddle. Of course, the front strap would simply not be used, instead you would need to rely on comfort, feel and balance to make sure it's under you. it might be a good idea to clip or tie the front strap to a 'D' ring in case it gets out from under you; or as an aid when you are dismounting.
