The Answer to our Problems!!
We have a draft horse-powered farm, and do many events on the side. Our horses are used regularly, and it is very common that we go 8-10 miles in a single event/ride. We have 16hh Spotted Drafts, which are perfectly sized for the Big Foot Boot!! I received the boot, and as it worked out, one of the horses (being new to our terrain and diet) had been lame on her front after we pulled her steel shoes. I tried the Cavallos, and she walked out across our gravel beautifully! The next day, we did a team wagon ride of about 5 miles. On a section of steep uphill, I noticed the barefoot horse slipped on the asphalt, while the booted horse had perfect traction. One boot twisted slightly on a steep uphill section, due to her using her legs at an angle to really pull the weight of the wagon. This boot was so easy to slip on and off, held up well, with very little sign of wear after the ride. Time will tell how long they hold up over the course of the season. For now, I highly recommend!

Looking at the Big Foot Draft Boot size 10 .... What size hoof will that fit? Thanks
John B on Aug 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This boot is for hooves that measure 71/8"-7 1/2". The sole length and sole width are the same. Note: This sole may not be suitable for a hoof with a hoof width that exceeds the hoof length by more than 6mm (1/4").
Is this boot suitable for daily turn out use?
A shopper on Jun 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: So long as the horse will keep them on, they can be used for turnout. Please start use gradually & build up to the number of hours you'd like the horse to wear these.
Need a size 7 boot, I believe. Hoof is 7", please advise?
Peggy on May 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You would probably want to try the size 10, which fits a hoof measuring 7 1/8″ – 7 1/2″ (182-189 mm).
