Not the quality I expect from Circle Y for the price
I bought these to match my Julie Goodnight headstall (to match my saddle) and was disappointed. The headstall is nice, but the reins were dry and stiff (and thinner than I like, but that was my fault for forgetting I prefer 3/4" over 5/8"). They may have gotten better with intensive conditioning, but for $60 I expect a lot more. I do really like the quick change feature, it looks very tight and clean vs waterloop ends. I ended up returning them anyway because for the money I can buy thicker softer buckle end reins. I will say customer service was very nice and helpful in the process and the refund was quick. If you're hung up on your reins being a perfect match to your Julie Goodnight headstall, just be prepaired with some Lederbalsam to soften them up.

Are there problems with Australian customs in getting these reins to Australia?
