Circle Y Rein
I would recommend anything circle y. I never been disappointed with the quality or it durability with any of there products. The Reins are no different.

Great reins
I love these reins! They are great when my horse lowers his head to drink from a stream. Very well made, and the leather is top of the line.

GREAT Reins!!!!
This is my second pair of these reins, the first time I bought them they didn't come in black so I had to dye them. I love that the length is adjustable and have the popper for those times where your horse wants to drink or you stop for a quick snack on the trails, you won't lose your reins when they put their head down.

Not what I anticipated
I got these for trail riding. The leather is nice BUT I did not realize from the pictures that they actually have a heavy loop of leather from the snaps going over a foot back. I need something that will not get snagged on brush. I think I can use them but I am not sure how my horse will do with the weight pulling on his bit. I got rid of my slobber straps on other reins due to the weight

Not great- disappointed
The antique/dark oil pictured does not match the actual rein color-reins are very dark on both sides of leather w/no light coloring on opposite side as pictured. Also the length of 9 ft in untrue because adjusted all the way out they are only 6 inches longer than my 8ft ropers-appears the "watering string" is considered as part of the rein length. Would be sending back if I had paid more than 32 dollars for these it was a let down because I expected more from a circle y product.

Is this a set of reins or do I need to buy 2 to make a pair?
alisa on Nov 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is not split reins, so you will only need one. They have a metal ring at both ends for the slobber straps to attach to and if I remember correctly they come with two snaps to attch to the bit as well. If you're looking for split reins, look at another product.
are the reins soft and flexable? I have little hands and want somthing soft and flexable
Donna G on Mar 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Not at first, like all new leather products. You might want to go with a thinner rein, this one was a bit heavy.
How long are these reins?
