Love it! Bought three.
I have tried numerous saddle pads over the years. From VERY expensive to fairly cheap. While I have liked others, I absolutely love this one. So much, that over time, I bought three! One for my young barrel racing quarter horse, to my 8 year old Tennessee Walker/Racking horse to my 20 year old Gaited Mare. Three very different horses and the saddle pad works like a charm for all. It has reduced back soreness for both rider and horse and doesn't slip. Very pleased. A good buy for sure.

Best ever pad!
This is my daughter's second pad. Purchased the first in 2005 or 2006. Durable comfort, value

Will buy another for my other horse.
Seemed to be the answer to my poor saddle fit. My pony used to have sore shoulders and it's helped greatly to keep my poorly fit saddle from making my pony sore... Thank you.

Great Saddle Pad
This is by far the best saddle pad that I have ever purchased. It is made very well, fits my horse great, and is very easy to clean. I would absolutely recommend this pad to anyone looking for an excellent all around pad.

Excellent Pad
I bought this pad when they first came out, it was around $150.00 LOVE it, I've owned it for 4-5 years and used it hard every year for barrel racing and trail riding, it just now has started to seperate and only at the back of the pad. I kept it clean and stored it carefully and it has more than earned it's keep. Horses love it.

Great Product
I had a saddle made for my 3/4 spotted draft when he turned 5years. It fit him perfectly for a year then his body changed a little, and no matter which pad I used he still had a slight pressure point on each side of his withers. Then a friend asked me to try her horses classic equine contourpedic pad. Wow! no more pressure points. I ordered one for my horse as soon as I got home. I have used it about a dozen times now on all of my horses and I love it. This is the only pad I will buy from now on.

Best Saddle Pad Ever
I just bought this saddle pad and I absolutely felt an amazing difference this saddle pad from all others I have used in the past. It is very comfortable for me and my horses. My mare moved very well and comfortably under it. My gelding, however, has always gotten very cranky when I saddled him before. I put this saddle pad on him, and when I put the saddle on nothing bothered him. It was such a relief to see him comfortable and happy with this saddle pad. I definitely recommend this product. :)

I bought this pad because I love the cell foam bottom, there is no slipping on my horses back and my saddle stays right where I place it. Even on trail rides going up or down hills it stays put.

What does the cut out withers do? Could it be bad if the horse doesn't need it?
T'neal M on May 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I think every horse could benefit from a cut out pad, as every horse has withers and this allows them to move more freely and comfortably.
I have problems with my saddle rolling when I get on . Do you think this is the best pad to stop that ?
I just bought new saddle abetta brush popper trail and it's helped a little but stil rolls !

BEST ANSWER: Personally I wasn't too impressed with this saddle pad. For me it didn't prevent saddle slippage and I found my horses back got hotter using this. I've since looked into getting a CSI pad. If you are going to invest, try to invest once!
