Love this product. When you use a splint boot and a little tape it stays on really nice.

slips right down off the knee
Thought I was getting 2 for this price and it was only one. Using it to protect my Stallions knees from rubs on the mounting dummy, but it slid right down to his ankle on the first jump! Waste of money!!!!!!

Won't stay in place
No matter how tight I fasten the knee boot, it will not stay in place. It always slips down over my mare's knee and down to her hoof. The Velcro attaches really well, but I guess when she bends down to the ground it stretches and then comes down off her knee. A real disappointment.

knee boot
I use this knee pad as a boot for my lame horse. It works great - she can actually trot and gallop nowThe material is quite tough and fit her like a dream

Works great.
Stays in place. I'm using it to hold ice packs for pain therapy. Would be nice if it came in a smaller size for smaller horses. I recommend this product ,

Was looking at something like this for my gelding with arthritis in his knee, would it help with the pain at all? While He is sound and active, I would like to reduce further damage/pain in his knee. He barrel races at jackpots about twice a month, will it stay in place while he's running? Will it get in his way when working?

BEST ANSWER: Knee boot helps protect knee bumps such as leg crossovers but is not intended to help with pain. I would advise discussing with your equine veterinarian for palliative care. It does stay put and fits more like a bubble around knee.
My horse has knees that buckle on occasion. Will this help support his knees?
Kathleen F on Aug 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These boots offer support for knee tendons and ligaments during exercise, and help prevent injuries. They will not physically prevent your horse's knees from buckling.
can this be used in turnout?
A shopper on Dec 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but it kept sliding down below the knee. The "rubber" material is stretchy. Either the horse was rubbing his head on it or dragging his leg when getting up from rolling/laying down. The Velcro kept the boot on his leg, just not in the position I wanted.
