Classic Equine Legacy SMB Boots

Classic Equine Legacy Boots are made of 100% virgin perforated neoprene that allows the leg to breathe and heat to escape so your horses legs stay cooler. They have a round cut box-stitched hook-and-loop attachment with an aggressive hook-and-loop closure makes the Legacy more secure.

Its shock absorbing splint pad gives maximum protection to the splint bone, tendons, and other soft tissues. The new, more refined splint pad guards against crossfire injuries and allows for a closer, cleaner fit.

The boot's suspensory rib is positioned between the tendon and the cannon bone to ensure proper boot alignment.

The boots are built with a patented Cradle Fetlock System that provides maximum support and protection to the lower limb by a double layer of shock absorbing neoprene.

An extended layer of tough, bulletproof material fitted on the cup area ensures durability as well as a series of fitting darts provides for a clean, close fit.

Bound edges help keep dirt and debris out.

Sold in pairs.

How long can these boots be kept on a horse? For example, can they be left on 24 hours a day, while horse is grazing, etc,..?
A shopper on Jul 5, 2014
Best Answer: No that could actually cause permanent damage to your horse's tendons and ligaments. They are meant to be worn for a few hours at a time while riding. Some people say no longer than an hour or two. They can also heat up your horses leg if it is hot out and cause other issues.

How do i measure my horse for Classic Equine Legacy SMB Boots FRT?
A shopper on Dec 12, 2014
Best Answer: Measure the diameter of the FRONT leg at the cannon bone, mid-way between the knee and the fetlock. HIND Legacy boots are designed to fit the bone structure of the hind legs in direct relation to the front legs. If your horse measures a medium in the front boot, he will also need a medium in the hind boot.
Small 7-1/4” - 7-3/4”
Medium 7-3/4” - 8-1/4”
Large 8-1/4” - 8-3/4”

are these boots good for trail riding?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2016
Best Answer: I really can't tell you that, I use mine on my barrel horse. I would say though if you're just trail riding you would probably only need the front boots. Hope that helps!
