BEST ANSWER: It's simply an on/off switch. Turn it
Off when replacing canisters or if you don't want it running.
Where in the stall do you hang this - in proximity to food, water, and hay, and also how high?
Stephanie B on May 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Where to hang this depends on a few factors. First, hang it near the thing that's drawing the insects. But also consider air flow. Put it somewhere so the mist will be dispersed, but not blown straight out a door or diluted so much the insects aren't affected. . I usually hang them as high as I can comfortably reach, since I'll need to replace cans and batteries. You should be able to smell the aerosol in the area you want controlled 2 or 3 minutes after a spray.
Can these unites be used on an out door patio area and how long will they last??
Mark B on Feb 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: In a dusty barn they last about 9 months with a couple of changes of batteries and new cans of spray every 3-4 weeks. In a non dirty environment I think they would last much longer. I have cleaned them up and gotten over a year out of them, but they generally never really work right after I do that, soI just get a new one when they gum up.
Will work in 10 by10 ft dog lot open on sides chain link?
Tommy V on May 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It may work, but it is highly doubtful the results would be worth the cost. If there was NO wind at all, it may be effective. However, any slight wind could push the spray away from the area you want to control. I would not recommend it, even though the dispenser works great in my stable that always has one door open to the outside.\
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who the time away from their schedules and answered my questions.
