Excellent product, very effective.

To keep the flies from congregating under the covered patios at both entrances to the house. They fly inside in multitudes as we entered and exited the house, causing an invasion of flies into our residence.
GRETCHEN A on Feb 20, 2015
Great for direct stall spray, they work for many seasons.
KRISTINA L on Oct 2, 2014
have problem with flies from horses in nearby pastures.
Sister J on Sep 12, 2014
This seems to work well but I think the dispenser was only good for one maybe two years because even though I replaced the batteries and the cans, there are still lots of flies. Downside is you need a ladder to mount it high enough
MICHELLE G on Jul 25, 2014
Have been familiar w/Pyranha for several years, know it to be an excellent, safe product for the barn. Excited to have a product for my home.

Looking for a system that was economical yet provided a comprehensive system for my stable to keep my horses comfortable and eliminate fly, mosquito pests. Recommended by a friend who has used this system for a couple years with good results.

Love these sprayers for inside my stalls in the barn. They cover 6000 cu ft. and last a month. Great value for the price to help control the flys.

does this affect no see ums?
A shopper on Jul 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We have a multitude of gnats in my area and this spray definately helped with them. I used two in a 3 sided shelter and my horses were very comfortable.
How do you set the timing on the dispenser?
Maureen B on Apr 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Inside the cover it has a switch that allows you to select how often you would like it to spray. I believe there are three choices - 15 mins, 30 mins and 60 mins
I run an animal shelter and our local feed store recommended this for our dog kennels. We also have a fly problem in our main kennel building that houses cats and dogs. Is this product safe for cats, dogs, and the general public?
Pam B on Mar 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I use these individually in each stall at my stable. They were very easy to setup, runs on a timer so you get continuous fly spray protection. I used them all year in 2014 and saw no ill effects either on my horses, the dogs or the cats that run in the barn. Seemed to be very effective in controlling my fly problems. I would recommend it for the price and ease of use.

I have a huge wasp problem entering the swimming pool and graciously leaving, however they can be a nuisance while enjoying the pool. Would this be recommended? I also have two small dogs and a cat that I need to keep safe.
geralyn m on Jul 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately this product does not state for use on wasps it only covers files, mosquitoes , deer flies etc.
How long does one bottle last?
A shopper on May 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: it depends on the amount of flies you have but mine is still working from April of last year.........but I took it down in the late fall and winter..........and put it back up in April.
How is it attached to the wall?
A shopper on May 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: There is a hanger hole on the back of the unit where you can mount it to your wall. I just used a nail in a stud on the wall. I have a 6 stall barn and have a unit in each stall and then 4 In my aisle way. I have most of units hung in this fashion and some units on my ledges between the stalls.
is it safe in the stall being he eats in there?
Shunter on Jul 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have also worried about this, particularly since the product specifications say that it should not be used in food preparation areas. That said, the presence of flies also causes issues that I think are a greater risk to the health and well being of our horses than the possibility of some spray getting in their buckets. In order to lessen exposure, we put the sprayers on the wall directly over the horses grain buckets. Watching the pattern the spray follows, it shoots out of the dispenser and gradually widens and forms a cloud as it progresses away from the dispenser. Therefore, the bulk of the spray circulates in the other half of the stall. Not perfect, but it does lessen the amount of spray that comes in contact with the buckets.
On the dispenser what is the 3000, n 9000 for?
George H on Jun 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I believe this represents how many sprays this container does.. I have to read it again...
This is a God sent product.. I have them in my stalls. I wish they had a switch on the outside of the case so I could cut it off during the times my horses aren't in the stalls without having to get the ladder to climb up to them and open the case....Would be great if we could set the timer also.. I find that every 15 min's isn't necessary in my stall...But I love them, they are really a God sent product.. The only fault I have with them is I wish there was a cut off button on the outside of the case...
If I hang this up on frame of their stall and it sprays out does the spray seem to settle down low for the flies that bother the horses legs while in the stall?
Tina G on Jun 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Sorry I don't really know the answer to your question, I just know that the spray helps with the insect problem over all in my barn. They do offer a spray to use on your animals directly as well that is very effective, at least in my experience.
Does this product work on horse flies and is it safe with chickens in barn?
A shopper on May 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does work for horse flies. I do not know if it is safe for chickens, you would have to contact the manufacturer for that answer.
