We use on our patio. Keeps flies and mosquitoes off patio.

Spray works pretty well.
Have used these with the timed sprayer for three years now. Have them on both ends of the barn. Piles of dead flies and mosquitoes underneath them daily. Keeping the doors closed a bit helps channel the bugs under the spray. Need to watch out that you don't end up spraying your hay if it is stored in the vicinity, as that would not be good for your horses to ingest. Otherwise, a good, effective product...

Great fly repellant
I have one of the Country Vet fly sprayers in every stall and i like this stronger version better than the regular fly spray version. It's twice the strength and I think it makes a big difference in keeping the flies away

Good buy
The flying insect spray works pretty well. I have them in my horse barns and it has obviously cut back on the mosquitoes and flies.

It really helps with the fly control... price is much cheaper than I can purchase locally.

Quality of product varies greatly. Some cans last 2 weeks and some 6 weeks .Some cans will not work. Some cans spray air only without pesticide. If there was a similar product on the market ,I would buy it. Country Vets quality control is terrible !!!

This product works better than anything else I've tried other than automatic pest control systems. I've had horses and livestock for the past 40 years.

Pyrethrins. When a flying insect comes in contact with the mist, its a goner. Shoo off any butterflies or you will be sad. Ladybugs too.

Are all these refills cross-compatible and 6.4 oz?
A shopper on Jun 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I've been using the spray for a couple of years now. I live in the country and have them placed in "living" areas around the perimeter of the house - garage, screen room, front and back porch to keep the mosquitoes, flies and gnats at bay. With those flying varmints gone, no spider webs either to deal with! They are very effective and yes, the various product containers do fit the housing. They are all the same size as well, not sure about the 6.4 oz, I've never looked at the can for that information.
will this fir in a 3000 dispenser??
A shopper on Jun 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm sorry I don't know where the 3000 dispenser is the dispenser I use is made by the same company and doesn't appear to have a number on it I do love the product
I'm not sure you got my last question. I submitted a question about being used in an event center around food. Does it matter if it was sprayed hours before the event?
Shawn S on Oct 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: we have them in several places outside where there is food during BBQ we have hand no problem however the spay does not spray directly on the food. Other than thank it will work really well with you if it is not really windy.
I submitted a question about it being used in a event center. What about spraying hours before the event?
Shawn S on Oct 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I use them in individual stalls of a boarding facility. They work great and really keep the flies down. Occasionally a horse will mess with them if they are within reach and they do not stand up well to that abuse.
Does anyone know why the spray housing would quit working? When I go to change the batteries and product, the can is still full. This has happened two months in a row.
RUTH W on Jun 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Assuming that the can and batteries are installed correctly and the power switch is turned on, if this has happened with two consecutive refills, it would seem that the dispenser has become inoperative.
I have occasionally encountered spray nozzles that were too stiff to be triggered by the dispenser, but two in a row seems unlikely, unless you tried to use the same refill both times. In that case, I recommend trying a different can.
When replacing a can the spray is usually triggered shortly after turning on the power switch, providing confirmation that the unit is working.
