how strong are these? I mean how many pds per sq inch of pressure can this take? and do you have stronger snaps?
Laurel H on Apr 20, 2016
Best Answer: Don't know the pressure in pounds they take. They are fine for general purpose and we use them to make gates out of cattle panels. They are really convenient for that. They are stronger than the bolt snaps with the swivel. I have had a bull break off the latches, though, when he worked on the fencing.

What is the diameter of the eye on these snaps? The eye on the 4inch double snap is too small to clip my gates together.
Suzanne on Oct 15, 2014
