BEST ANSWER: As many as you need. I just like to have one on hand, no long term issues.
does this product contain an ingredient that coats the stomach to protect from ulcers?

BEST ANSWER: I doubt it. I used it for a small period of time when my horse pulled a muscle. he was out of shape and would get sore easily. it worked well and was a great alternative to bute. if using it for a long period of time I would contact your vet. I highly recommend adequon(sp) for certain long term issues. I've got my gelding on MSM (100% only) and biotin now. He hasn't had any stiffness/soreness issues since.
