Why did you choose this?
Horse.com Store
Will be trail riding and joining local Mounted Posse group and want my barefoot mare to be as pain free as possible hours on pavement.

While these boots are a little more challenging to fit, the way they stay on and the durability are excellent for the 4-6 hour trail rides I do on rocky/sandy terrain.

I am going on a 200+ ride and need emergency protection if a shoe falls off.
Melissa L on Feb 21, 2016
if the shoe size does not fit can i return for a different size?
A shopper on Jun 10, 2015
Best Answer: Yes, within 30 days of receipt as long as the boot is in new, unused condition with the original product packaging. It may be a good idea to put plastic wrap on the foot and a towel on the ground.

Is this a set of two or four?
Gary G on Aug 13, 2016
Best Answer: EasyCare boots are sold individually. Horses may need 2 different sizes or widths for their 2 front or hind feet. My horse has one hind foot that requires a Wide boot while the other hind foot needs a regular width. Keep that in mind when measuring hooves.

Which of the easy boots is the best with so many to choose from?
david b on May 20, 2016
Best Answer: I have tried several easycare boot styles and have been disappointed with several. I sent back the back country style because it did not fit well and did not stay on even though I used the sizing fit kit that you can order to help you with sizing. I found that the original easy boot was easier to fit but did not stay on well no matter how tight they were clamped on. I did have more success with the Epic because it has the extra gater that helps them stay on. I have found that all the Easycare boots are not easy to put on or take off. I have abandoned my Easycare boots and use Renegade hoof boots. They are high quality, well designed and easy to fit and they are a breeze to put on and take off. AND I've gone many miles on all kinds of trails and have never had one come off.

how long do you recommend wearing these at a time?
Debbie P on Mar 8, 2015
Best Answer: I've ridden trails in the morning, stopped for lunch, took the boots off to check for rubbing, put them back on and ridden all afternoon. These were leisurely trail rides. Hours in the saddle without covering much ground. I think the most I did with the boots was probably 10 miles and I'm sure they would have been fine for more. I'm a retired endurance rider. I would not use them for that because I would want shoes.

why cant I choose a size i need on this add?
Melean V on Nov 10, 2016
Best Answer: The last Easy Boot I bought was the labeled as the same style and size as the previous one, jet it was not the same. some changes had been made and it was larger.
Frankly, Easy Boots have become so confusing I've given up on them, just keep traditional shoes on my horse. The ORIGINAL Easy boot was not so hard to put on, and worked just fine.
