Not for turnout.
I was looking for a light turnout boot when I found these. I can see how they would be great for medicating and protecting a stalled horse. My mistake, I thought the description read for "light turnout" but that was on another product of a brand I did not recognize. So I ordered these with the idea I could use them in muddy paddock conditions, which I did, with amazing success. They stayed on overnight. They did not chafe or rub at all. Hooves were pristine in the morning. Hosed them off to clean. But after several weeks of intermittent use, one began to blow out, only one. When I called the manufacturer for a warranty exchange they did so with no hesitation, but stated that these boots were not for turnout. Well, OK. I will probably continue to use them off label, but only in times of extreme need. Great product. Could be just a little more durable?

works well for foundered ponies, but dismayed that discount was not as advertised on Black Friday so didn't need to wait to shop this site and won't in future.
